Whos happy with our new coach joe philbin?

Some of you are so enthusiastic about this and I have no idea why. Of all the things that make GB what they are, Joe Philbin is such a small part of it as to be almost irrelevant.

If finheaven hates the hire, then I am all for the hire. Welcome coach Philbin.

Sent from Hayden Panettiere's #1 fan
except finheaven loves the hire. . . but hey ton was "JUST A DUMB OLINE COACH"

but this guy is great "BC HE WILL BRING IN MAT FLYNN"

so idk. all the same i hope the old baldy does ok, dont see it but ill get used to it, and prob used to finheaven hating him soon enough.

Don't automatically assume were going to get Flynn without giving up a first round pick. I keep reading that the Pack want to sign Finley which I would have to assume would free up the franchise tag for Flynn since there's no doubt there is demand for him.

I'm going to assume Miami saved a lot of money by not signing Fisher. $ for free agents such as Flynn, etc. I hate sacrificing the future by giving up draft picks. The draft is now wide open for the Dolphins 2012 draft.

1st round pick for a back up qb??? that aint going to happen and the pack knows that wont happen. Maybe just maybe, a 2nd.

Not happy, but I am a Fin fan first and foremost. Firing one o line coach for another does not make sense. It seems like everyone that wanted Philbin also wants Flynn - because he showed so much in his 2 starts?

For those who hate Ireland, I hate to tell you, if all those reports are right that he wanted McCoy, if Philbin fails it's not on Ireland, it's on Ross. In other words, be careful what you wish for because Ireland has another excuse in case Philbin does not work.

Someone in the packer's FO said last week they aren't going to franchise him.

That money does not affect free agents.

typical dolphins fans, want the biggest name possible, and then we tank as ussual. its been going on for years now. decades.

mort just said "yeah well with philbin gone they'll be fine, clements has much to do with the qbs, and mccarthy is really hands on with them as well."

great job - an o coordinator who is an oline coach and doesnt have much to do with rodgers, or teh offense, or anything.

TONY SPARANO part 2. with a touch of CAM

the actual QB coach we ignored.

but you ppl will all cry an complain when we "dont know how to develop qbs" in a year.

I don't think they'll tag him honestly. They would owe him essentially 14 million or something in that neighborhood, a salary the new team would have to accept. I think Flynn will be free to sign wherever, but that's just my opinion.

im ok with the hire give the man a chance. hopefully he brings west coast offense here, but all the people that want flynn i dont really understand that i dont see him being much more than moore honestly there should b plenty of qb's in draft next yr i say give moore the job and dont overpay for flynn and if we have to let ireland and philbin pick a qb to draft next yr if we can withthe right draft pick

We'll finally have someone who can develop a franchise quarterback.

Me. But I pretty much would have been happy with any offensive minded coach who knows the value of a stud QB. Glad we didn't get Fisher. I just want good football again. I may be a blind faither but I have no other choice other than jumping ship.

Finley will want to test the FA market regardless of what he says so he will get the tag.

I'm more happy about his potential staff than him necessarily.
