Why are people acting like the seaon is over?

I had a dream last night that it was Sunday and I was waiting for the game to come on. I looked at the schedule and Miami NE had already played on Thursday night, so I missed the game three days later. The final score was 28-26 Miami.

Miami won so you know it was definitely a dream.

Almost anytime you're starting a rookie QB, you're doing a rebuild. You're giving up the chance to win now for the chance to win later, which is the definition of rebuilding, and if you're starting a rookie at QB, the position most strongly related to winning in the NFL, you're very unlikely to win now.

Now that doesn't mean you won't win now, because some teams have won with a rookie QB, but it's the exception to the rule.

It seems the education everyones giving you is working.

The season isn't over. We have to grow and develop. The chances of making the playoffs is over. Look for a big push next year. We simply don't have the talent this year.

As a fan, it's like the movie, Ground Hog Day. I find myself living the same season over and over again.

This....it doesn't matter. It's like your wife watching the movie Titanic for the 7 millionth time. The boat is still going to sink no matter what and, in our case, we don't get to see Kate Winslet's cans. Lose - Lose.

Why are people acting like the season is over?

The short answer - because it is - the rest is the long slow train wreck of a team ill-prepared - undermanned and outcoached.

I have been watching this same Dolphin debacle film for 20 plus years and I am SO DAMN sick of it.

The Bills loss was a complete and total team collapse and the Dolphins deserved to lose.

The Ravens quite frankly the same thing.

Sorry but the team should have been doubling and tripling down on any every offensive line possibility out there.

They could have hired circus clowns and sumo wrestlers to come try out - but get it done.

And now we all have to suffer - and I am furious about it - I am SO sick of this mediocrity!

the chances at making the playoffs is over at 3-3? rofl

Depends on who the team is. Can the 3-3 team pull it together and go on a run or will they continue on the path they have been on and fold?

With that being said, it isnt looking good for us.

well, seeing as how the only blowout was the saints. I think this team can make corrections and win. a lot of players aren't playing perfect, but I think if the play of the oline gets better, there's no reason Miami can't pull off wins again. enough to fight for the division, even.

edit: meaning, I think Miami lost the game to buffalo and the ravens, more than those teams beat Miami. So Miami just need to correct their mistakes.

rofl at the patriots blowing us out. who have they blown out this year? not buffalo not new york the first time. who has blown miami out? just new orleans at home on primetime. a huge advantage btw. nothing leads any reasonable fan to believe a blowout will happen

I hardly ever get thumbs down on this site and I've gotten the majority of them on my post above saying NE is going to win. That's pretty interesting. Where is this fire and passion on the rest of the site?

Results at NE since 2007:

28-7 Loss
38-13 Win, Wildcat BS
27-17 Loss
38-7 Loss
27-24 Loss, were up 17-0 at halftime
28-0 Loss

Reasonably you'd assume NE is going to win b/c aside from the Ronnie Brown career game in 2008, the Dolphins haven't won in NE since 2005 back when Doug Flutie kicked that drop-kick extra point.
