Why are we not pursuing players like Zach Miller??!!

Zach would be a great addition to the Dolphins, with that said what kinda contract is he looking for?
who is his agent? has he even thought about miami or miami thought of him?
Te Fasano had some good catches then droped some really easy ones, Clay from what i hear has good speed, but he is not a miller (yet)
Wr to me looks good - Marshell, bess, Hartline, (bush) moore, wallace - they could use some depth or even add a star like edwards.
At Rb Thomas, bush and Hillard is an ok group. i would love to resign Brown or ricky -

I think it comes down to H-Back C Clay and even TE Brett Brackett.

Both have size, speed and can catch. C Clay was running back who grow into a Fullback and B Brackett was a WR that grew into a TE.

C Clay "was an ultra productive pass catching fullback in Tulsa's spread offense. He is a powerful runner that gets the difficult yards between the tackles and consistently finds running lanes due to good vision. He frequently lined up at tight end at Tulsa and was a difficult matchup for defensive backs." (NFL Combine)

And I really like Brett Brackett's size, speed and catching ability. I think he is going to leap over all of our scrub TE and make the team.

Agree 100%. The lack of improvement on offense is scary. I don't want another year of our offense holding back our defense, we need at least Orton.

Agreed....and thats exactly where this is headed. On one hand some say "don't overpay for any player" or "don't give up ANY draft picks". But at some point don't we need to make some moves to improve the team more than marginally?
