Why Ben Mcadoo will get this job

I would call him out about the "people" he knows but that would be mean. Granite people on this site are mean anyways.

Lack of capital letters at the beginning of "sentences?" Question marks outside of the quotation marks? Unnecessary spaces before the question marks?

I'd suggest sticking to the topic of the thread rather than attempting to give English lessons.

i wasn't going for excellent sentence structure, a lesson in english, or proper grammar. i was taking liberties for emphasis. ;)

Now before everyone gets worked up about him just being a QB coach think about it this way.

when Philben left he was supposed to be the "mastermind" behind the success of the packers offense, yet with Philben gone they have been just as good if not better, now granite they have Aaron Rodgers, but Ben was able to make Matt Flynn look good in his offense so i'm really excited to see what he can do with Tannehill.

I'm confused. Philbin sucks? Clemments is great? McAdoo is the real "mastermind?"

To me, that speaks volumes

I took a Volumes course my Sophomore year in college. It didn't take. The professor was a tremendous knob.

Whoever it is, it won't matter. You can go ahead and consider Philbin the OC already because if he fails to, as a head coach boss of coaching bosses, make damn certain adjustments get made if **** ain't working, it's Philbin's a$$.

If i were Philbin, im shooting for God as a reference. "I see you come highly recommended by the Alpha and Omega. Excellent. He is listening."

A reference from a friend merely leads to more prayer.

I have said this in a comment earlier but i figured i would post it for all to see.

I know people who are very close to ben and have talked to him recently and he is very interested in the job, as long as Philben is stable i believe he's got the job, and i think its a great thing. Now before everyone gets worked up about him just being a QB coach think about it this way.

Actually regarding the Packers offense and Philbin that's not exactly true. The offense was definitely affected when Philbin left. I have a ton of friends who are Packers fans and many of them told me the game planning was not as good at the beginning of the first year after he left. I'm on my cell now so I can't check but I believe both the pts and yards per game where affected early in the season. I believe they straightened it out as the year went on.

It will be interesting. My hunch is that it's between McAdoo and Kyle Shanahan. McAdoo has the better immediate fit with Philbin but Shanahan has good experience and is escaping from the pure hell of working for his Dad, with a diva QB who has the ear of a meddling owner.

I live in DC area and hate Skins but would love Shanahan. Redskin offense in top 10 each of past 4 years.

Philbin is about trust in relationships. So Mcadoo would fit right in and working the same offense. But that should go without saying.

He is also getting looked at in NY and Cleveland? That says something.

Im pretty sure Joe called him and told him not to sign anywhere until he talks to Joe.

It certainly affected them when Joe's son died right in the Championship game.

I know the guy who coached him at Homer Center in PA when he was in highschool. He still talks to Ben everyday and visited him several times while he was the coach in GB, but thank you for being a hater.

I agree with you 100%. I can't wait to get an OC that actually takes advantage of mismatches & doesn't have a cookie cutter offense that when his first game plan is figured out he is able to adjust on the fly.

I am currently coaching with a man who coached Ben at Homer Center High in PA, he still talks to Ben almost every day and visited him several times while he coached at GB.
