Why do so many people think we throw the season if we start Moore?

He's 6-6 as a Dolphins starter and 7-7 if you want to give him those two other games. Please don't spin it to say "OH well he is 7-3 in his last 10 games" as if the first 4 weren't the ones that knocked us out of the playoffs.
What am I spinning exactly?

He came into a game after we were 0-4. His first start was against the Jets and he was horrible - made bad decisions all over the field. I didn't see the next game w the Tebow miracle finish but I was at the Giants game the following week and he played decent in a close game.

The things started to click and next thing you know Brandon Marshall is catching TDs and we are winning more than losing. I think it took him a few games to get into a groove and then he looked like an NFL QB after that going 6-3 and yes winning the only other game he's played a meaningful amount the next year.

If Tannehill played 3 crappy games to start his career and then looked like an NFL QB I'd be thrilled. But he still looks like a rookie - and not even a promising rookie.

Using your logic why don't we just got back to the beginning of Moores career and dang it just count every game.

and when his 2nd pass is a pick 6 the players won't show up to practice with all this enthusiasm you predict?

Are you seriously predicting such a ridiculous future to try to get in the conversation? This is grasping at straws at it's best. RT is not playing well.....but it's absolute insanity to come on here and have people clamoring for Moore and how he gives us 2-3 wins....because he throws a better deep ball. Our season is NOT going to turn around based on the success of the lowest percentage pass in the NFL. It is beyond ignorant to place a QB in a starting role due to his better deep ball, when he has far more deficiencies than your starter who struggles with the deep ball, to only ONE of his receivers.
Are you serious?!?! Let me ask you again, are you serious? Nothing about Ryan Tannehill's game is as good as Moore other than his speed. Nothing. I am not saying Moore is a Pro-Bowl Caliber player, no one on here is. But Moore is a MUCH more polished player. There is no argument.

With Tannehill this team wins 5-6 games. With Moore this team wins 9-10 games.
The sooner the change is made, the more wins in the bag.
RT has had enough time. What would letting him play accomplish. It is delaying the inevitable.
And the same people who wants to rid out the season with that WR playing QB are the same ones who will be agonizing after each loss and points being left on the field because that WR cannot throw accurate passes.

Plenty to argue about....how many starts does Moore have? Ints? Fumbles? Tds?

Funny, I swear you said you were done talking about Tannehill earlier today. Are you done yet?

But see Moore isn't allowed a couple of games to get adjusted to not only yet another offensive system, but also playing with the 1's after not being allowed to after he was signed in August. Yet guys here want a whole year of patience for Tanny in Lazor's system.

so what's the excuse for Moore latest performance?

incorrect, he came into the San Diego game when we were 0-3. the score was 0-0 at the time and we lost that one too

It's not throwing the season away as much as it is a submission to a rebuilding process that doesn't need to be addressed yet.

Simply put, career backups aren't allowed those kind of benefits. And it's not us "guys", it's what's going to happen regardless of the whining we find here in fan posts. Tannehill will get at least 6-8 weeks of solid work in this new offense before any rash decisions are made.

You mean when he came in cold against buffalo and hit Hartline in perfect stride for a 54 yard bomb? Or was it 53 yards? I'm sure you'll correct me.

Anyhow, he showed how to throw a long ball - something or franchise QB can't do

You purposely busting balls or just missing the point?

He actually thinks it's reasonable for Moore to pull out a miracle 2nd half in piss poor weather conditions, down big to the Bills where nearly the entire Dolphins team wasn't putting up even a trace of a fight. He will continue to fixate on just that one game or should I say 6 passes of it. Then if you mentioned a larger sampling size in the 2011 he'll just mock it talking about the competition even though Tanny sh*t the bed vs. the Bills twice, Jets, and hapless Chiefs in 4 out of his last 5 games.

Unreal. I'm all for a good debate but his arguments are just stupid.
