Jeeez people learn to forgive!!! He made a mistake but that wasnt the reason why he quit, there is more than just one reason, yeah he was afraid of what the fans and the media would say if they found out. That wasnt the only reason, he was tired of taking a pounding each year just for a coach and staff that sucked and needed him to make them look better. He took a beating since the beginning of highschool and needed a break, yeah the timing wasnt the best in the world but him taking a break for a year helped us. I would personally get tired of Wanny, the media making little stories of one off Rickys mistakes into a huge headline, and the offensive line that was going to be blocking for him in 04.volk said:Actually, Ricky quit because he was afraid of facing his third violation of the league's substance abuse policy for smoking weed. I'm not guessing here, this is exactly what he said during his 60 Minutes interview.
