Actually it's called lack of talent. Doesn't matter how much experience they get if they suck. The only good one is Reid.

And nobody has said a bad word about Ponder on this thread, are you guys all paranoid? Ponder's great, but let's get real for a minute and realize that FSU wasn't a dominant team WITH Ponder this year, so him coming back isn't going to be the difference maker. It's going to be about how much the defense improves. After watching Bradham in the Gator Bowl, I realize why Arthur Brown isn't playing.

Talent has not been a problem on this defense for a while (other than secondary as of late). Luckily we got a couple stud recruits back there.

Our front 7 has some power, if we get a consistent pash rush threat on the outside they could be a force.

FSU was ranked last in the ACC in total defense (by almost 50 yards), and 10th in the ACC (third from last) in scoring defense.

If you're happy about those players all coming back, you're more than welcome to. But don't think it's actually a good thing.

They won because Ed Pastalong decided to hire Gomer ****ing Pile as the Head Coach. Who gives Noel Devine 5 ****ing carries in the 2nd half vs. a team with no ability to stop the run?? There is a reason CJ Spiller ran for 3400 yards in one game vs. Florida State and they scored 247 points on that ****ty defense.

The 2nd half shouldve been handoffs to Devine, Clarke, and Sanders over and over and over.
