Why Ireland MUST be retained

I know everyone is disappointed with how our season ended but the only thing that remains a must is keeping Jeff Ireland. While I know this conclusion is an obvious one to most here, there are still some people who cant (CAN'T) see what is so plainly (CLEARLY) obvious. Ireland has been an excellant(EXCELLENT) gm (GM) during his tenure here. He's amassed a plethera (PLETHORA) of talent here while ridding this team of its cancers and trouble makers. Unfortunately (,) he's being made the scapegoat for awful coaching and the great talent he amassed is not playing to the (THEIR POTENTIAL) capabilites (CAPABILITIES) that they should. All of this is not Irelands fault.

The proof is in the pudding. Ireland has deftly got this franchise headed in the right direction with his savy (SAVVY) acquisitions and draft picks. There are numerous players he's drafted contributing in a myriad of ways (,) and that speaks to the genius in his scouting ability. You dont (DON'T) get into the position Ireland is in by being bad at your job. Hes (HE'S) been doing this for almost 6 years (,) and i (I) defy you to name 5 gms (GMs) who've had that long of a tenure and were bad at their job. You cant (CAN'T) so the only logical conclusion you can draw is that Ireland is really good at his job. Its math guys.'

The worst decision this franchise could make would be to get rid of its greatest asset. Does getting rid of your best employee make your business better or worse? Worse of course (,) so it doesnt (DOESN'T) make sense to want to get rid of Jeff. Makes no sense at all.

Due to (BECAUSE OF) Jeff, this team is really really (2nd Really is unnecessary) close to being in the superbowl (Super Bowl). I guarantee you all that (I GUARANTEE YOU THAT) next year we will win 13 games if Jeff has another offseason to build on the last outstanding offseason he had. The proof is in the pudding. Ross is no dummy. You dont (DON'T) get (EARN) 5 billion dollars by being a dummy (,) and he likes Jeff so there you guys. Its (IT'S) the obvious and its (IT'S) the right (IT IS THE OBVIOUS AND RIGHT) choice to keep him.

I know what im (I'M) talking about. I have a PhD which automatically means I'm smarter than just about everyone here. You cant deny that. Who(WHOM) would you trust with a teams (TEAM'S) [/U] assessment? An intellectual with a PhD or yourself? ( ASSESMENT, AN INTELLECTUAL WITH A PHD OR YOURSELF ?) I think ive (I'VE) made my point[/U]( I think ive made my point

Keep jeff (Jeff) and go phins. 2014 superbowl (Super Bowl)

Phins up.

DUDE, Hate to be the bearer of unpleasant news, but your parents wasted their money. If you have a PHD and write like this, you undoubtedly wasted your parents money. That University should be shut down for fraud. To deliberately state you are more intelligent than most here, is a bit crass and condescending. I find it laughable that you would speak to ANYONE in that manner. I own a business with 11 employees and am worth in excess of 37mil. I did not spend a single day in college. So between us, who is actually the smart one? You can keep your PHD letters, I'll take the money. Your writing stands alone and speaks for itself. That piece of paper they gave you at college, you may as well use it to wipe yourself with! That's about all it is good for.

What do you make? Dildos? I'm betting it's Dildos. Or maybe you make prescription antidepressants that doctors give to people with inferiority complexes.

Anyhow, criticizing my grammar and spelling is pretty weak sauce. If someone spilled that kind of sauce on your Lamborghini Overcompensatora you wouldn't even be mad.

Wasn't Ireland's theme last off-season that he had "picks and money"? And where did that get us? No playoffs...AGAIN.

13 wins. Why in the world (outside of upgrading like 10-15 positions) would anyone think this team is going from averaging about 7 wins a year under Ireland to 13. Yowsa.

To everyone losing it in this thread:

Locke, I'm going to assume you're trolling. If so, fantastic.

If not, well, yknow... Fireland. Fins Up.

Locke must be enjoying everyone's confusion right now

Did you lose a bet Locke? Hannity as your avatar? Say what?

I tend to doubt that. Why would Locke gamble with someone who has less of an education? Also, since he has a PhD, wouldnt he win that bet?

and one more year for everyone.

lol.. can I get it right or can I get it right?

We are super bowl bound!!!

What I do to earn money has no bearing on the conversation. I, as you, am no better than anyone on this board. To say someone has an inferiority complex, look no further than your self. Someone who touts themself as being "smarter than just about everyone here" is pretty stupid considering your grasp of the English language is marginal at best. Your opinion expressed in your post is just that, your opinion. That in itself is laudable, but I see no reason to put anyone down in order to try and prove your ridiculous point. It makes your point less valid and diminishes any credibility you may have had. It exposes you for what you truly are, a dildo lover. Oh and, by the way, it is a Ferrari, not Lamborghini.

Doctor,

I have been firm on the idea that before firing anyone within the organization there must be a detailed evaluation.

But with an internal division of Joe Philbin VS Jeff Ireland, there will be changes in the coming days.

I understand your point about Ireland value as former scout, but his free agency calls are more than questionable. In order to illustrate my point allow me to introduce some facts.
a) More than five potential free-agents have opted for other teams arguing they are avoiding Ireland as GM, I think that's a clear sign of damages that Jeff is causing with his rude style.
b) Jeff is a great college talent scout, but he has been questioned on his skills to add quality free agents. Grimes was a great addition, but Wallace never deserved the kind of money he's making.
c) Adding talent in pre-season is an important part of GM's activities, but dealing with on-going season moves is a harder task and Jeff has been incapable of making important adjustments.
d) It's obvious that current coaching staff is imperfect and wasted important chances, but without proper talent at RB, LB & OL it was a very hard mission.
e) His role as cap manager was so wrong that the team required a special staff to fix it during since 2011.
f) Jeff has changed roster design more than 4 times in his 6-years as GM, wasting talent most times. Coaches are developing young talent, but once players start to pan out, moves eliminate progress.

So using those facts you can evaluate Jeff Ireland's football knowledge and his management skills. I see him as a great scout but a very questionable GM.

I see Philbin as an imperfect HC, who requires a lot of development as roster leader, but cutting ties with him would lead us back to 2008. Progress requires continuity.

It's a shame, but Jeff Ireland MUST go.

I respect your status, but don't share the idea that a degree defines your intelligence.
I only have a Masters' Degree, but that has never being a limitation to design state-of-the-art diagnosis theories that several PhD's have required extended explanation to understand.
Also everyone deserves respect and unless your PhD is related to football sciences, your status doesn't mean you're an expert.

Op... A PhD does not make you smart, I might not have a PhD but I know you're a blind fan with a very low football iq
