Dieter may improve or be ok at Center, but we still need another Center on the roster and I don’t think we have one.I've read in some places that Dieter is expected to continue to get better. Coming out of school in Wisconsin some thought he had a very high ceiling. He's been the C on a bad line and he's looked mostly average. On a good line with an intelligent scheme designed to maximize each line mans skills, every player will look better. As the starting 5 start getting snaps together they will improve and finally gel into a unit that can take it to the defense. What this produces is time for Tua to throw the ball and holes for our running backs to go blasting through. This offense will require some patience before it's clicking on all cylinders but when it does it's going to be a thing of beauty. We'll see if Dieter can take that next step. I'm sure rooting for the kid.
I hope we draft or sign another one.
