Why Martin is Still a Problem

You'd think if Martin was Gay,Cogs sr would have thrown that in his rant a few days ago...

You're probably right, but Cogs should still use the "I'm gay and was abused" defense. lol

Or Cog should continue to stand up and say nothing he did was out of the ordinary and he is being smeared by the media.

**** it, i worked in a factory for years and we talked to each other worse than the voice mail or texts that were sent out. all in good fun, but until we get the whole story who knows for sure. but i hold no punches, im not a compassionate person, regardless i don't want martin back within 4 miles of this team.

For the lawyers out there (or anyone having an opinion); when Martin is released does he have any grounds to file a law suit for unlawful termination? If so would the Dolphins likely settle and pay him off? Personnally I hope not, but in this crazy world, who knows?

you can file and win a lawsuit for anything these days, i dont have anything expert to add, but i vote we start taking up a donation fund to pay martin to stay away (im only half joking).

Just because it is not out of the ordinary doesn't mean it is right.

I doubt we here from Martin as most lawyers advise their client not to speak and I also thought he had checked into a facility which again would keep him out of the public eye.

That's the issue- lawyers. Nothing to date shows this to be a "lawyer up" situation as much as it should be a man up situation.

I don't disagree with your statement about wrong and right- except here it's looking like only one person had a problem. He is now trying to smash everything down because of is feelings and hurt guys on the team. Potentially inadvertently but it's the outcome of his childish actions.

10 days later and still no public statement, no updated tweet....just nothing. After that first tweet seemingly exonerating the Fins from blame he returns home to his litigious parents and now we have this debacle. Is there any question he wasn't tough enough for the NFL anymore? He can't even be a man and handle the situation as such.

Now I'm not condoning anything that would really constitute bullying or hazing, but doesn't anybody else find it odd Martin goes into hiding and uses a notorious dirty player as a scapegoat? This same notorious player that his team is defending.

There is more to this than meets the eye and the media is blowing everything out of proportion since bullying is such a hot topic. Got to wonder what on earth is going on with Martin. I think that X factor will come out soon and we will see the real issue was Martin's softness and lack of response to toughening up.

I'm waiting for the nfl to rule, then martin enters picture.

incognito is now less off the hook if coaches asked him to do this.

to me, incog should be suspended for some games but cleared if no wrong doing is found other than racial slurs and bullying via twitter and locker room stuff.

martin should not be considered weak. he is no more weak than clabo or jerry. he is just wired differently. its up to him if he wants to come back and I can actually envision these guys both playing next to each other and doing a group hug for tv.

This was what I believed the situation was from the beginning, if the media and public would take a step back and forget about the buzzwords involved (bullying, hazing) they'd see this is the case. But since this story gives them the chance to give their views on bullying they're all on their bully pulpit no pun intended. It's unfair, and I really hope we get Incognito back soon.

I think in the end we find out that Martin had Mental health issue all along (even before becoming a Dolphin).....the problem is if he did have the issues and the Dolphin knew about it....Richie was the wrong person to use to motivate. They know who Richie is...and how he handles business...right or wrong, he was a poor choice to push Martin.

Naw, the abused gay child defense along with the newly determined honorary team black guy thing will go much further.
