lol IM not sure that's where he is going. Culpepper got a pretty bad rap here because he was caught up in a coaching change and was never healthy here or probably ever again fully.
Bad trade no matter in the end much like the Trent Green trade was a bad trade

Maybe he meant both former Viking QBs?
 
We need somebody to come in and run an offense for a couple weeks so our backups can get practice and be evaluated running this offense. Even when he was putting up good numbers, Freeman wasn't running an offense as much as he was going out and slinging the ball when his team got behind, which was often. Not to mention that he can't be counted on to actually show up to things like practice, which is why he has been on 3 teams in 12 months despite being very young and having incredible physical talent.

You don't bring in a guy who thinks he is a #1 to compete for a #3.

Only a matter of time before Freeman starts running his yap about how he should be a starter.

Trent green? He played for the dolphins?? Oh wait that's right he got KO'd like week one. I kinda remember that hit, but I'm guessing green doesn't. He was a good qb but yes that trade did not work out well for anyone on the Miami side.

that is so very true. I remember two season ago I had him on my fantasy team because my starter got hurt. He was always hovering around 2 points every game until the 4th when he'd light it up for 3 tds in an almost comeback. Got to the point where I didn't even worry, I knew he was gonna make up ground in the 4th......until it came to playoff time, which is where he didn't make up ground and I got smoked.

After the final cuts, there will be a player with some potential available if Quinn throws to many TD's for the other team. Maybe a Mallet, or Osweiler, etc.
I think we might go with 2 QB's and keep an extra WR or LB.
Looking at Quinn might be an audition from the QB scrap heap, just in case.
Devlin did nothing here, he could not beat out Moore. He had his chance.
 
If we're going to bring in a washed up QB, I'd at least want to take a look at Vince Young. Dude's had his issues but he's way better than these scrubs we're tossing around.

Vince Young could not learn the playbook. I would rather have another younger QB as the #3.

Well if you're concerned about the player learning the playbook, why would you want Freeman? Freeman is a bright guy, but there's something weird going on there. I don't know if he suffers from depression or has a substance abuse problem or something, because the reports about him out of Minnesota were just weird. Like he was trying to get cut.

Not a lot of cagey veterans out there with live arms and good wheels.
