I think it's possible, but almost everything would have to fall Miami's way. The two biggest question marks are quarterback and left tackle, arguably two of the most important positions on a football team. Also, I think the team is questionable at DT, although neither Bowens or Chester played much last year anyway - hopefully Wright and/or Vickerson can have an impact. You're right about the secondary being a question mark as well. Then you add a really tough schedule and three AFC East teams that are playoff caliber and a winning season looks very difficult.

I do agree that there is reason for optimism, especially if the team gets much better play out of its qb position. I am excited about the season and what Saban is building, but I think 7-9 would be realistic.
