Why would anyone take Pitts over Smith?

I think so many people get caught up in measurables (including scouts) that they forget that the most important part is wether or not they can play football.

The combine can hurt your numbers or drop your potential. Remember the draft where Andre Davis was drafted?
Chase who? Jamarr Chase? If so, Terry is much bigger than Chase.

Hes about devantes size.

Same here bro, no wonder you and I know who he is lol. Supposably he didn't wanted to play for us anymore. I don't blame him if he opted out. Our program has sucked.

Definitely agree. He laid it all out every play for a really bad team. So I wasn't upset when he opted out.

On the whole, the game of football is played at around 4.6 speed. It isn't played faster than that. Which is why the 4.2 and 4.3 speed demons rarely ever pan out. The game isn't played in a straight line and the excess speed they possess isn't really a factor unless it's recovery speed (defensive back).

It's about angles and the fundamentals.

Interesting take on Smith. Nick Saban said when he saw how slight Smith was 2 years he said he wished he was bigger. But then watching him play he quickly realized it did not matter. Then last year Smith played the WR position better than anyone in recent history so being 170 pounds wasnt such a big deal. And he never got hurt.

Do not draft Bama guys. This is their pro day. This is unbelievable, the sht NFL puts up with.

Sounds like a good plan...considering they are more Alabama players on NFL rosters now than any other team....

Can't work out what your issue here is with this, it was the last throw of a 60 or so session. Which honestly I found a little underwhelming especially when it was followed by Fields's outstanding pro day.
