Wide Outs

I'm a little confused why were are not bringing in every free agent WR there is? There are some descent names out there right now. Why we have not signed one, if not two of these guys is beyond me. But I am not a NFL gm as well.

1. Housh
2. Roy Williams
3. Mike Williams
4. Sims-Walker (previously mentioned on another thread)
5. Braylon Edward (still showing as UFA)
6. Plax (the obvious and best choice)
7.Camarillo (why not bring back the guy who got our only win a few years back)
8.Michael Clayton
9. Patrick Crayton
10. Chad Johnson (heard this guy was just released) Sean Smith cant begin to cover him
11. Lee Evans

Disclaimer: Sorry if this has already been argued. I'm pissed and to lazy to browse the threads.
Literally every single person on this list has at one point been overpaid and underachieved. We need players to grow into the new system, not overpaid scrubs.

Giving our guys currently on the roster time to separate from the list and also giving time for someone to release someone or a trade possibility to comeup. The guys on your list suck and past their prime by the way Edwards was signed by Seattle

We'll be making a few WR signings when camp cuts begin... look out for Packers receivers specifically.

Is this a joke?? And nobody has called attention to this yet... or am I confused? This is the same 85 Chad Johnson that the MIAMI DOLPHINS just released, that Sean Smith was able to totally shut down in practice, right?

LOL?

theres going to be cuts when preseason is over. im sure we'll pickup a decent reciever. hopefully the patriots will let go brandon llyod or we'll grab james jones. ill love to have justin blackmon but he also got in trouble after the draft

Wonder why they didn't sign Braylon.. on the surface, that would have made more sense than most of the others on that list.

Braylon has his own off the field issues not to mention a tendancy to drop passes with even more regularity than we read in our practice reports. He's also hurt way too often.

For me, there isn't a free agent WR worth taking a shot on right now. I think you just go into the next draft and put some real emphasis and finding someone that fits the system and draft him.

1. T.J. Houshmandzadeh Could have been an adequate WR but it's 2012 not 2007.
2. Roy Williams This guy never lived up to his potential, and I don't see him as a Philbin guy.

3. Mike Williams In fact he's been considered for Jeff Ireland, so yes he could be included as soon as Monday into Dolphins' roster.
4. Mike Sims-Walker He's a Philbin guy, a good-hands receiver, but injuries seem to have finished his carer.
5. Braylon Edwards Member of the Seattle Seahawks

6. Plaxico Burress Great athlete, punk person. Not a Philbin guy, but represents an upgrade over half the receivers in this team.
7. Greg Camarillo Love his efforts but he lacks of natural talents to beat any current WR on Miami's roster
8. Michael Clayton Could come to compete but I don't see any upgrade with that.
9. Patrick Crayton No offense, but he's less valuable than several receivers on the fold.
10. Chad Johnson
NEXT!
11. Lee Evans Jaguars' Coach Mike Murlarkey expressed he can't play like he used to.

Resuming, there are two realistic options: Mike Williams and Plaxico Burress. Williams is being targeted by Dolphins, Plaxico is plan Z.

I think that at this point we have to give the young guys a chance to shine. Wallace is looking like the light may finally be coming on. Hartline will return and he is a very consistant player. Bess is excellent in the slot and we still have Gates, Moore and several others that hopefully will step up.
