I'm pulling for Tripp to take over at MLB, and Ellerbe and Misi to man the OLB. Wheeler can rotate with Misi, and I am interested to see if any of the UDFA can unseat the back up LBs.

Utilizing Tripp in the middle speaks volumes, I'm not so sure they are confident with Misi being there. They are exploring all options

i concur, i hope Tripp can be good enough to start at MLB. i like that he's being thrown in there already.

I'm thinking that coaches want to see what they have, and who else may come available before making any moves. Which LB's are you looking at as upgades who are now available?

not a lot of options. Vilma maybe. but i'm not sure we'd kick the tyres on him. Larry Foote is like 100 years old and has bum knees. Desmond Bishop wasn't all that geat after he left Green Bay. really, there isn't much at this point IMO.

I'm definitely hoping we get 1 or 2 OL from other teams' cuts. I'm not happy with our current group. It's like we doubled down on the John Jerry and Jonathan Martin types.

There are a lot of kids from this draft class with a good talent that cannot all make the rosters. A few guys I'd love to add if they get cut include OL James Hurst, RB Lache Seastrunk, WR Jeff Janis, OL Wesley Johnson, and DT McCullers. All of these guys have good talent but have a flaw that may prevent them from being immediately productive.
