Will Ricky Williams eventually be traded?

Me neither. From all the interviews with Ronnie that I have seen, he seems like a very humble down to earth guy. While this may change, he just seems to be one of those rare team players that money might actually be second behind winning.

Kinda like an LT out here for the Chargers. All the people that I know that have dealings with him, LT is the most down to earth guy.

My magic 8 ball says no.

Why?

1. Ricky can't be trusted, so teams might not want to trade for him.
2. Saban will never get the value he wants.
3. Ricky may never be the same player he was before he quit....uh retired.
4. He publicly stated that he will most likely only play two more years at the most.
5. Saban seems to like the idea of two RBs possibly being on the field at the same time.

My conclusion, he comes back, plays two years and then retires again as a Dolphin.

Great point on Number 4. Ricky kills his trade value when is stating that he will only play 2 more years. Thing is, he made it pretty clear that he was never going to play football again either. Shula had it right when he said that they have to get the most out of their investment. The Phins put a lot into this guy and because of it they do not have the depth in the areas that they would like to have. We have to see how this works before we start talking about his future. We don't know if he is even worth playing for our team at this point. I think we all just need to face the fact that Ricky is going to play for Miami this year for good or ill. Let's all hope for the best as fans.
