Will RT be in the Top 100 players for 2014?

the main reason you missed was b/c of the QB. The OL was not nearly as bad as you guys claim. It wasn't good but it was mediocre. The 2nd half of the year it was pretty good, plays were there to be made and they weren't made. would they have been made w/ a better OL? maybe, but you had the ability to make the playoffs if you got better QB play.

I have said it many times, Wilson was sacked at a higher rate than Tannehill. Back in '85 Ken O'Brien was sacked more times and at a higher rate(sacked 62 times in 100 less attempts) and he led us to 11 wins and a won the passing title. we had a better ground game but our QB took a lot of hits. Ryan kind of reminds me of Ken w/o the great deep ball ability.

it wasn't all on Ryan but he had the ability to get you to postseason, the D was more than good enough and kept you in a lot of games. Ryan did not step up like he could have. Let me say this again- I am not saying Ryan sucks or that he won't get a lot better I am saying he failed in 2013. I expect he will be better, as an opposing fan he worries me and I think that is a pretty good compliment but he didn't do enough in 2013 and too many excuses were made for him.

Dude you have absolutely NO BASIS for such a claim and you may have never been more wrong (which you usually are) about anything Dolphin related in your life. Thats it.

Please, continue to tell us dolphins fans how it really is with our team, oh wise one...

Jackass...

no need for the childish attacks, just stick to the topic. You saw how The New Guy and I were discussing the situation like rational adults?

Fans need excuses, every year I hear how great you will be and how great certain players will be then when the team isn't good and the players aren't good there are excuses. The OL wasn't great but he had chances to succeed regardless of that. Sorry you couldn't see it.

I don't care about meaningless rankings but since you posted them:

1st link was from May of 2013.

2nd link was from May of 2013

3rd link was the same as the 2nd link

4th link has you at 28 ahead of SF who made the NFC Championship Game.

If you take a second to look at the stats...it has Miami ranked 30th in pass protection...22 for San Fran

Miami was also 31st in attempts....

again, I don't compare about meaningless stats I was just pointing out some facts. Miami's OL was mediocre/bad at times but that was not the sole reason you missed the playoffs. There were many areas that if improved a little you make it, one was OL, another was QB. to blame everything on the OL isn't fair but you also blames the OC too just like a few years ago w/ Henning when it was all his fault. if Ryan doesn't improve you won't go anywhere, I expect he will but he needs to prove it. This is a huge year for him and for the dolphins.

$50 mil on a left tackle in free agency the 19 pick on a right tackle and a trade up in the 3rd round for another lineman...yeah the oline was not the major issue :rolleyes2:

Some people kill me around here

Why do they let this dope ruin the board

again w/ the childish insults. It's not my fault you went all in making foolish proclamations and now need to try to make any excuse to keep hope alive. Nowhere did I ever say the OL was good but you lost 3 guys from the scandal last year so obviously you needed Ol help but let's ignore that and let's ignore the fact that the OL was pretty good the 2nd half including week 17 where they shut down one of the best DLs in the league yet Ryan threw away the season.

Keep deflecting w/ childish insults though.

It doesnt really make a difference does though does it. Those rankings are reflective of the entire season. Id be willing to bet Miami had the worst line in the entire NFL at some points last season.

Not sure where you got, "to blame everything on the OL" as not one person on this board blamed everything on the OL entirely.

Congrats junc...now you got a 3 headed monster of suck qbs...

how are they reflective of the entire season when only one is actually from the completion of the season?

Thanks, w/ only one head we finished ahead of the great Ryan Tannehill and Miami last year:lol: including watching that one head badly outplay Ryan.

Our QBs have question marks but every team in the AFC East has those question marks outside of NE.

Setting qb play back to depths rarely seen before...your 2014 New York jets :tubes:

in the biggest game Miami has seen in 5 years our QB badly outplayed the anointed one and knocked you out of playoff contention. That was w/ no weapons, now he'll have some. I can sense the fear.

We were outcoached... our HC and Coordinators sucked the big one... thats it... no other reason... It had nothing to do with the QB's at that point... please stop making it into something its not... its why some around here think your a troll... you are heck of a poster at most times then sling pure poo at others..

Let it be...

outcoached and outplayed.

I can't worry about how others perceive me, I am always fair. I tend to get bashed b/c I speak honestly and the honest opinions aren't always rosy for you guys but I am fair. You are all free to disagree, I'd prefer if folks actually tried to engage in civil discussions rather than just bash me but that is the way it goes sometimes. I have tried to stay out of these discussions lately b/c of it. This reminds of me when I bashed the Culpepper signing and I was bashed a million times worse than now and in the end I proved to be right. I never crowed, I took the barbs and moved on. I will dot he same here if I am right and if I am wrong I will be back to tip my cap to Ryan.

It continually amazes me Junc continues to talk about how Tannehill could not get it done, or how he was nowhere as good as his numbers last year, yet he could see greatness in Sanchez, who never..ever had even a good regular season in his career, and just one good post-season to hang his hat on.

here we go, I didn't bring up Mark(who was much better in 20101 than Ryan was last year). mark has nothing to do w/ this and I never once called Mark great or ever said he would be great but he was more than good enough to win big with and we nearly made 2 SBs w/ him.
