This is going to be a tough game. Don't think we'll be able to run the ball as effectively on them as we did on the Raiders. Also, Revis will be back and I'm sure he'll be sticking Hartline effectively taking Hartline out of the passing game for us.

am I blind or has they're run d been super shotty these first two weeks? I think we can run it. I'm starting to think pouncey, cognito and long may be one of the stronger run blocking o-lines in the league

I think we can. But at the same time the Jets aren't the Raiders. Just like the Bills aren't the Steelers. Just because we beat the Raiders doesn't mean the Jets game will be a easy win. But the win certainly helps.

Forgive my spelling. This was sent from my phone.

Haven't read the posts, but take away the 4 straight turnovers, and this team has looked good. We could have beat the Texans without those turnovers. It's that simple. Play a smart game, and we can beat anybody. I don't think Bush will be as effective against the Jets as he was today, but damnit, we still looked great today. Hartline and Tannehill were on the same page, adjusting to passes, etc. This game will be a good game though, I'm hoping it's on in my local area. Dolphins are trying to surprise a lot of people, myself included.

Morono in Sun Life Stadium. Run for 2 yard gain, poorly executed play action pass that goes incomplete, Wildcat on 3rd and long, Punt. Dolphins win.

Dolphins up 16 points with 4 minutes left, in comes Tebow...

Miami will win the game if they eliminate mistakes (of course) and get off the field on third downs. If NY can convert third and long we're doomed; if not, they will not score enough to beat us.

Its gonna be tough but I like the Fins chances (especially at home).

I'll go Fins 17
Jets 14

I am worried though about the Jets D. You just know fat Rex is gonna be sending everything at Tannehill. Lets hope Tannehill is up for the test and maybe do some more of those role out plays (they seem to work well)

We need to dial up a bunch of different screens, they will be blitzing like crazy. I like Reggie's chances.

Jets-10
Miami-17

We better be ready to tackle, they're gonna really unleash all kinds of the wildcat and Tebow. Whichever team rushes for 100 plus wins.

It'll be interesting to see what ticket sales are like coming off the drubbing of Oakland and playing our biggest rival.

Don't kid yourself, Santonio Holmes is much better than any wide receiver we have on the roster.* Shonn Grenne is not a particularly good player and we certainly have the edge there, but on the other hand I don't see our defense covering Dustin Keller.

Both the Dolphins and Jets are tough to figure out right now, what with both teams having a blowout win and an ugly loss on their respective resumes. I think what is going to make or break this game for Miami is the whether or not the Dolphins can run the ball successfully. The Jets rush defense is tough to figure out. On one hand, they got absolutely torched by CJ Spiller, but on the other hand they did a good job of stuffing Pittsburgh today.

If Bush can run the ball the way he did against the Texans in the first half, we have a good chance to pull out a win. If not, well, Philbin and crew better have a rabbit ready to be pulled out of a hat.

* Santonio might be an idiot and a mental midget, but in a 6 year career he's got over 5,000 receiving yards to his credit and a Super Bowl MVP trophy. He's a good football player.

Again, color me not impressed with Santonio Holmes. Look, I'm not debating he's had a good career, but it seems people are making him out to be a great receiver....he's not. He had ONE thousand yard season...since then he's been average at best with the Jets. For a guy making almost 8 million a year, he's seriously underperformed as far as I'm concerned.

As far as Dustin, will he even play? That remains to be seen. His hamstring issue kept him out of the Steelers game and will definitely not be 100 percent if he does play next Sunday.

Stephen Hill may be the one to watch out for. Although he disappeared this week, he had a nice game against the Bills. The kid has big play ability and I' hope the defense keeps an eye out for him. It's gonna be tough...especially if Marshall is still banged up.

Congrats on the win but you aren't beating us.

Nice game yest at Pitt. True test for jets after beating a shotty bills team. Still convinced Sancheese is your franchise qb? Lmao. Don't even mention the bills game because their def is atrocious. You went against a good Pitt def without their 2 best players and Sancheese was 10 for 27. Wake up pal and open your eyes. Jets are a 8 win team.

of course that was a true test for us, we throw out the great game against Buf and put everything into the bad game against Pitt. For you guys I'm sure your true test was yesterday, right?

Congrats on the win but you aren't beating us.

That's why they play the game on the field and not on a message board. Thank goodness too, I'm sure Pats fans said the exact same thing to Cardinals fans before Sunday's game...."you aren't beating us!" :)

NYJunc is right, we have no shot, no chance. Not sure why we are even playing this game. We have sucked for quite a few years now and somehow we are 5-3 in the last 8 against the Jets..Still, we should just forfeit..no way we can beat that team, especially with Tebow..just impossible.
