Spiller made the Jets D look like swiss cheese...and Bush>Spiller talent wise in my opinion!! (Plus Score, I have both on my fantasy team ;D )

The Jests D seems to be slightly overrated. They got lucky with TOs against the Bills, but yeah, Spiller shredded them on the ground. They couldn't stop Pitt's passing game, and they couldn't get off the field, giving up 9 and 10 play drives in the first half (Pitt scored on 3 of its 4 first half possessions). The Stillers were something like 8-for-13 on third down! Pitt had no running game to speak of, so it could have been worse.

After watching the coaches film on the Jets vs. Steelers game, this game is going to come down to Tannehill's mobility in the pocket, can he effectively move around and buy extra time and find the open guy. The rush the Jets were able to put on the Steelers were phenomenal, but the mobility and headiness of Ben is what allowed the Steelers offense to be effective. And I would expect the Jet's to be even more relentless this week.

The thing is that the Stillers OL is NOT very good. They took OL in the first and second rounds in 2012, but they lost their first round rookie, RG Dave DeCastro, in preseason, and LT Mike Adams has struggled as rookies will. The Bills have a much better OL than Pitt, and the Jets were NOT nearly as successful getting pressure.

The Jests LBs struggled to set the edge against both the Bills and the Stillers. If the Fins run the ball, and limit Tannehill's exposure to the Jests blitzes, I think the Fins can score enough points to beat the Jests because the Jests can't run for manure, and Sanchez is, well, Sanchez.

what do the games fromlast year mean? you have a new QB, new coaching staff, new WRs, new team and you were blown out in week 1 before playing a bad team at home in week 2.

:sidelol: Games from last season mean much more than games from 2 or 3 years ago, but that doesn't seem to stop you from continually bragging on how great Sanchez and the Jests were back in 2009 and 2010.

So now you're back!!?? You spent 2 weeks on both this forum & the Pat's forum talking ****e about how the Jills were going to crush the Jets and as soon as that ass whoopin was handed to your boys, you disapeared from both forums for 2 weeks.:boohoo: Now, because your sorry team won a game you want to come back and talk ****e again? Pathetic. You have zero credibility.

Heeeeyyyy...look who it is. Did you finally stop licking your wounds from the smack down the jets put on your Bills? You were all over the Pats forum yapping about the Bills' greatness....how the Jets suck...blah blah blah........Jets destroyed Buff in all aspects of the game and you disappear. What a b.s bitch move on your part.

Don't you have a comic book collection to inventory or something ?

Oh boy another insult when unable to refute or parse irrefutable, unparsable facts rudely puncturing one's convenient alternative realities (a couple of 'em!).

This will be a good matchup as it is every year, twice a year. I’m hoping for a win but it could go either way with a close final score. If we can ride Reggie for 60 minutes, Tannehill limits his mistakes and makes a key 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] down conversion or two and Snatchez plays down to his usual level there’s no reason Miami can’t win it.

It makes sense......but Ben is very unique in his ability to extend the play. I really don't think another QB in the leaque (outside of the "running qb" has that ability. Jets should have had 7 sacks that game.....but they missed a lot, and as you said, Ben is tuff to get down. Tannehill won't be that elusive
There is no such thing as "very unique". Something is either unique, or it is not. And Sanchez will screw up.

It was a 3 pt game at the half, we had chances even in the 4th. Don't let the final score fool you and Pitt missed some key guys but we were missing the best defensive player in the game along w/ another defensive starter plus sanchez's favoite target o offense and lost our starting RBb for half the game so spare me the nonsense about Pitt's injuries.

When did the jests sign Troy Polamalu? Terrell Suggs? DeMarcus Ware? Did I miss a trade or something? :ponder:

Isn't Snatchez's favorite target the brown eye belonging to any boy band member currently making little girls swoon?

I think you're right, I think Tannehill's going to see a boatload of defenders coming his way all game long. The key will be how effective that rush is and how well our secondary plays. If we can rattle Tannehill early and force him into throwing the ball early, I think we get 2 picks on Sunday.

I am sure there will be a lot of pressure, and I am sure it will affect Tanne. There is a mitigating factor that you are probably have not heard. The time before the snap is very, very different this year. The Dolphins are usually lined up by 19 seconds on the play clock. This gives Tanne 12 seconds before entering the we know it's coming time period. Most offenses yield the advantage to the defense by entering the last 7 seconds before snapping the ball. This allows the defensive line to be better prepared for the snap. The reason Tanne has made few presnap read mistakes if any is he is given 12 seconds. He is good at presnap for a Rookie, so 12 seconds is enough time. This is one of the subtle impacts Philbin has made to the Dolphins offense. I am very curious to see how the Jets defense and how Tanne use this period of time.

Forget this BS about Oakland, the same .500 team last season as our next opponent being terrible, whether it's true or not.

Actually, putting everything into even better perspective, Peyton Manning just demonstrated that the team pummeling the jest likely is less than who we thought they were (at least so far).
