What i don't understand is why we pick 9th and the Texans pick ahead of us considering they beat us.

It depends what we do in free agency. If we sign a LB or CB. But for now I say Quentin Moses, Alan Branch, or Leon Hall. I don't think there's any oline worth taking at #9 except Joe Thomas, but he'll be gone by #9.
Who beat who matters more when getting into the playoffs. Strength of Schedule matters more when entering the draft. If you have a weaker schedule and you still lost the same amount of games, the thinking is that your team sucks more than the one that lost the same amount, but played harder teams.
