Those guys are corners? I don't know anything about them. I wouldn't be opposed to it. I just think fournette is exactly what we need. But we have to address the line to help him. Man we have so many holes to fix
No, Garrett is a DE and the best player in the draft. Given the fact that Wake and Williams are possibly on their last leg, it's a no brainer pick. Peppers is a freak safety/CB/LB/master carpenter (probably). The CBs I'm referring to are Tabor and Humphrey.
I also can bring myself to think of the possibility that not resigning Miller would also cost us a much needed 1st to replace. It's too sickening.
If you don't have your QB.....you have to keep looking till you find him.
Lets remember....we passed on Brees twice..we passed on Aaron Rodgers.....and we passed on Matt Ryan.
We passed on these QB's when we had no franchise QB.....we passed to draft corners, RB's & a LT.
If we had opted for Brees or Rodgers our history changes and the Dolphins have their 3rd hall of fame QB.
We need to find that QB.

I agree with the sentiment, but that doesn't mean you reach. If they aren't in position for the top 3, you don't reach. That's how you end up with a Tannehill instead of a Kuechly.

Why? Because we have so many good DE's? Wake is done. Williams has quit. Jones sucks. Branch is a back up at best. Fede has his head up his ass and is a crap pass rusher. So, tell me...who is going to be our stud DE next year?

Amen brother. Kuechly was the pick...plain and simple. Future HOF player. We need a QB, but you don't go first round "just because". You go with BPA...that's how you end up with Kuechly...and players like him.

I totally disagree. Just watch the YouTube high lite videos of Myles Garrett and then tell me what you think. He's a once in a generation talent. If we get a shot at him.....we have to take it.

peppers looked to me like a slot corner in the pros when I watched him a year or so ago...no way if you are Miami you take that top 5...it's like a more athletic explosive Michael Thomas or something...

Agreed....QB or DE..... And since none of the QBs would provide value that high this year.... You go DE and get Garrett. Simple pick.
Because dion jordan. Because olivier vernon. Because koa misi ( didnt he come out as a de, not sure but wanna say he did) The only halfway decent DE we have is wake and we didn't draft him. We shouldn't have a hole at DE. I mean, we shouldn't have a hole in a lot of places but... I just think we need actual linebackers more. A Mike especially. I don't know about this guy though so I could really evaluate once I look him up and see what he's all about. But damn do we need linebackers. Badly. Also, I like your second pick in your signature... but leonard fournette will not last until the second round. I hope and pray we can make some kind of deal to end up with an awesome linebacker and fournette. But I know we will be tannebaumed
Well when you take a look around at the standings this morning there could be competition for the #1 pick - it doesnt look like the Luck two team race to me at the moment.
There are several really bad teams. If we continue the spiral down guess we get a pick in top 5-10 range -but not sure about top 3.
