WOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Dome Idea is fading!

NO DOME or any other roof....playing out in the sun and humidity is what gives us a nice home field advantage...especially against teams from cold weather places. It makes up for us having to play in cold places in December. Wayne just say NO to any dome/roof. :)

it's pretty weak you guys want to count on the weather to help us win. We should be able to win regardless.

Scroll toward the bottom of page. I feel relieved. The thought of a dome for Dolphin football made me feel ill.

I read this, and breathed a sigh of relief. Best news I've herd since WH signed Saban.

I'm so glad that the NFL sees it kind of like I do. A roof has no real buisiness in a town that has no SNOW.

How's it weak? We're using the weather to our advantage. Just like the Pats can use snow to their advantage.

What makes some of you guys think that the roof would be closed during those hot september, and october afternoon games? I would think the brass wouldn't be stupid enough to do that and take away our advantage of the brutal heat/humidity. I would think they would only close it if we had rain....and how much of an advantage is rain really?

The problem is that it usually takes 45 minutes to close the roof, so before game time it's either open, or closed for the whole game.

Bring your rain gear, and there is no problem whatsoever......

Somewhat true, but at the same time it's pretty weak for fans to say it's too hot to attend games.

Most of the fans live here year round, and should be used to the heat by now..

:yeahthat:

Especially being in a division where our climate is unique and foreign to each of our 3 division opponents.

Again, why do you people think the roof will be closed during hot and/or humid days? Use your brains. It's retractable so it can be open for the weather we want and closed for the downpours. If it was a straight dome, then we'd have the problem of losing our heat advantage...but then again, we'd gain a lot more noise from our typically too relaxed crowd.

I want it open for the pouring rain. I want it to stay like it is.

Bring some Dolphins Rain gear.

Florida and sun are synonymous. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!

Just say NO to domes and NO to retractable roofs!

The entire NFL should be played in outdoor open air stadiums... the true way football was ment to be played. The elements are what makes for fun matchups!
