Ok let’s take that catch he go hurt on away. He had 3 catches for 26 yards in 4 games and he got hurt in. Sounds washed up to me for what was supposed to be a number 1 receiver.

It was a joke that 2002 team finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs with as loaded as we were. Of course when our QB was Jay Fiedler thats what happens.

We beat the Raiders to get to 9-5 and were the number 1 or 2 seed at that time then lost to the Vikings on a walk off FG 20-17 and then blew a 24-13 lead with under 5 minutes remaining against the Pats and lost in OT 27-24. That had to be the most heartbreaking end to a season I can remember. Maybe 1993 was worse when we were 9-2 and finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs.

If that 2002 team just had a decent QB we should have at least made it to the Super Bowl. If we were the number 1 seed which we should have been we would have since our defense was so dominant at home back then. So much for the old adage that defense travels.
