Worst/best moment in Fins draft history

the best that I've personally watched and seen: Tannehill
Also last year I was actually super-stoked with the Dion Jordan pick when it happened. Until I found out he had injury concerns... lol.

worst: Pat White. Just the fact that we spent a 2nd rd-er on an iffy QB when we already had Henne taking the reins and doing mostly well, and, it had the whole "Wildcat" scent on it, which I was already starting to question as a long-term strategy for us. Everything about it in that moment was so ridiculously head-scratching.

As crass as it may be if u stay injured and don't produce you are still a bust. You did nothing in the league.
That's why Greg Oden and Sam Bowie are busts.
Not many want to act like Culpepper wasn't a bust of trade because he never was the same player as he was before the injury.

Culpepper was traded for with knowledge of the knee injury and the opinion that he would recover from it. There wasn't as much reason to think that Green would have health issues.

I'm thinking of this thread not in terms of best, worst draft picks, but how I felt about the picks at the time. Sad to say there aren't too many that were really great moments. I guess I'd say Ronnie Brown made me feel really good at the time, I had suffered through a losing season for the first time in my lifetime (that I can remember) and the loss of Ricky Williams was the catalyst, so bringing in an NFL caliber runner was a great feeling. What's funny is that I had a great feeling about Aaron Rodgers (he always sounded more exciting than Smith) but for some reason it didn't click with me back then that the QB was by far the most important position, I'm smarter now. The other one is getting Tannehill, though I knew it was a reach and I wasn't sold on his talent (in years gone by he would have gone much lower in the draft), it sure was great to see the Dolphins stop trying to outsmart the rest of the league at the most vital position, and shop for a franchise Qb where it made the most sense instead of in the bargain bin.

The worst is easily Ted Ginn Jr. when it made so much sense to draft a QB (and there was a highly touted one available), I wasn't sold on Ginn as a receiver, and when we later made a QB one of the worst draft picks in franchise history that has thankfully been largely forgotten due to the brevity of the Cameron regime.

I can't say anything bad about Yatil green, because he never saw the field. It isn't fair at all to call him a bust, knees made of glass true, but a bust?

I hear ya Wildbill...but I was basing my selections on pure value/produciton or lack there of....

Marino is the best.

Worst is trade down to pick Avery instead of staying put and drafting Randy Moss.

Good draft moments : JT, Zach, Madison, Surtain

Bad: PAT WHITE, Henne, Beck, D Thomas
