Worst Dolphins QB ... ?

A.J. Feeley gets my vote. Beck, Lucas, and Pat White are all good choices too though. Lemon was bad, but he did save us from 0-16 so I am giving him a pass.

brian griese after 3 games i was convinced he was adopted.

uh...Pat White. lol

I wouldn't have even classified him as a QB. He never started and only came in on gimmick packages. He was bad, though.

gus frerotte..

beck against philly was ****ing embarassing.

Frerotte? Are you serious?? He was actually decent. But I agree with you on Beck. He was horrible.

Gus was 9 and 7.In hindsight not resigning him was a big mistake. It lead to Culpepper.

Agreed. I'd pick Lucas over those two if for no other reason than because of how much better the team was in 2002 than in 2007. Beck and Lemon were playing for a team that was a missed field goal in OT away from going 0-16.

Exactly, Lucas took over a team that had been dominating a number of games and turned them into a mockery. His first start is still the second worst starting QB performance I have ever watched personally in the NFL, after a 1 completion start by Derek Anderson.

Pat White shouldn't really qualify. He had about a quarter of game action at best, albeit a horrible quarter, and he was entirely mismanaged by Sparano and entirely unqualified and unprepared to come in as the second QB in a game, which he was only designated as because of the now extinct third QB active rule.

With an injury to Green and inconsistent play from backup quarterback Cleo Lemon, the Dolphins struggled to an 0-8 start to the season. With the team on a bye week in Week 9, head coach Cam Cameron announced that Beck would begin splitting reps with the first-team offense with Lemon in preparation for their Week 10 contest against the Buffalo Bills. On November 14, it was announced that Beck would assume the starting job, beginning with the team's Week 11 game at the Philadelphia Eagles on November 18.

Beck and the Dolphins lost to the Eagles 17-7, failing to score on offense. In the game, Beck went just 9-for-22 (40.9%) for 109 yards, however he was not sacked and committed no turnovers. Overall throughout the season, Beck started just five games and lost all of them while the Dolphins finished the season with a 1-15 record.

With Lemon and Green leaving the team at the conclusion of the 2007 season, Beck was poised to assume a starting role for the 2008 season. However, the team opted to draft Chad Henne and sign Chad Pennington, which pushed Beck back to third on the depth chart.

After not playing the entire 2008 season, the Dolphins released Beck on April 27, 2009.

Sad to say but if Fiedler (even being the average QB that he was) would have played the entire '02 season the Dolphins would have made the playoffs. Ray Lucas was terrible and cost us that season. A team with a top 10 defense plus best running game in the league but couldn't make the damn playoffs. Beck and Lemon may have been worse but they also had worse talent around them.

Prob Pat white...Did he even complete a pass for us in the Regular Season?!?! LoL (EDIT: the answer is no...his NFL QBR is an incredible 9.5 with a 0% completion percentage, even worse 2nd round pick than Beck and Feely*!!!)

*Technically a second ;P
