I know a lot are happy with Tannehill but who will he throw to? Hartline or Wallace would be a #4 on 85% of the teams. And Ireland has done absolutely nothing to help this :(

They are drafting talent and can't fix everything in one draft. I like what Philbin has brought to the table. Give it time.

If Philbin and Ireland are both comfortable with what we have then I trust them. This is the line I will repeat again and again in regards to anything I question about the team until we actually play some games.

Jordie Nelson 6'3", 217; Brian Harline 6'2" 199... both great hands and ability to run clean routes and get free.

Who knows, maybe Philbin sees something in Brian that he saw when developing Jordie and thinks he and Ken O'Brien could do a better job of developing him than did Karl Dorrell, Steve Bush, Henning and Dabol :idk:

I'd have to look at every team's roster to agree, but we have absolutely the worst WR core in our division and I guess that's all that matters.

I'm no draft expert, but I bet next year's WRs will be better than this year's if not as plentiful. Why waste a pick this year on a WR that will take 2 to 3 years to develop (only Blackmon and Floyd, I think, are NFL ready) when there are a greater numbers of studs coming out next year; players that can make instant contributions.

Statistically I think we are. I am not as down as everyone is on our WRs, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

TE is more important in Philbin's offense and we have some good options there.

With coaching we will be fine. Let's judge worst in the league after the season has started.

No one is ever happy. If we drafted a WR, they would complain about not picking some other position.
