Would Griese be a distraction?

He's not even on the team yet, and he's already a distraction.....

He'll be a very large distration if he's signed. It's too late in contract negociations to think otherwise....

If he had signed on day one, this would not be the case, but now since nothing has been accomplished in contract discussions, the Phinz would be better off cancelling all negotiations ASAP....

There's too many negatives hanging over his head now, and with all of the hype surrounding him at this time, it would do more damage to sign him IMO.....

Let's go get someone else....

Brian needs a lot. He needs to be behind the team and with the fans. But all he is doing is distancing himself from the team and the fans by letting his agent screw him over in the eyes of the fans. He's only making more enemies by lettting this drag on, not friends. And with his past, he needs all the fans and friends he can get.
