Would you trade Reggie Bush, Daniel Thomas or Lamar Miller straight up for Mike Wallace? An even 1 for 1 trade. I would have to say yes.

Not neccessarily. Bush is the only proven NFL back on the team. So it would be a gamble to let him go. And Wallace has not been the model of consistency either. So I have some reservations but would lean towards yes because of the potential in the other backs and the lack of proven receivers on our roster.

Reggie Bush is 27 years old and hasn't been able to be consistently healthy for more than a year, he had his first 1000 season after being the 2nd overall pick in the NFL draft.
I'm a big fan of Reggie Bush, I even have his jersey, but RB lives in the NFL are not that long, and Reggie Bush isn't good enough to warrant keeping him instead of picking up a great receiver like Mike Wallace.
Reggie Bush is one of the biggest playmakers in the NFL but you have to wonder how long he's going to keep that up since he's 27 and is injury prone.
There was a thread earlier in the week asking if you'd trade Reggie Bush for 2 2nd rounders, and I would've taken that trade as-well if it had been offered to me. RBs are the most replaceable position in the NFL, and unless you have an Adrian Peterson type RB then I suggest getting what you can out of him before it's too late.

I don't think it matters, it's a "what if" scenario. I'm sure it's not hurting anybody, and if it starts a conversation I don't see why not.
It's the off-season, It's not really hurting anything. Just let it be.

I love those of you have absolutely nothing to contribute but think your opinions actually mean something.
it's not that difficult to find a proven back even this late. Cedric Benson is still looking for a job. you could get some production out of him. Bush on the other hand never made it through 16 games. he had a nice year last season, but i'm not betting on him lasting 15 games again. Mike Wallace is a legit #1 WR in this league. the only thing that makes me wonderis that Pittsburgh doesn't give him a new contract and then goes out and signs Antonio Brown to a big deal. something smells fishy there.
Mike Wallace wants big money, and Antonio Brown, who put up very similar stats to Wallace his rookie year, was willing to sign a considerably cheaper deal than Wallace.
The thing I get out of this is that if Antonio Brown got that money, I wonder how much Wallace was asking for?

there were reports prior to the Antonio Brown extension that Wallace has turned down a 5 year 50 million deal, apparently he is looking for Vincent Jackson money 5 years 56 million

maybe i'm just reading too much into this, but that's not a bad contract for a #1 WR in my opinion. obviously not cheap, but not bad either

Wallace ia not a #1 receiver in this league and should not be paid as one. The guy is fast and can catch, but that is it. I wouldn't make the trade. He wants ridiculous money. I have said this on a number of posts now, but I truly think Gates and Wallaceare pretty much the same player with similar ceilings. Gates just needs more work.
