yeah, Pat McInally had a 50. i suppose punters need a back-up plan worse than Ivy League QBs

Actually Pat McInally scored a 50 and Mike Mamula scored a 49. Fitzpatrick is one of three NFL players who have scored 48 on the test.
By the way, Marino scored a 16 on the test and when it comes to being a QB in the NFL, give me Marino over Fitzpatrick any day of the week.
About 15 years ago I went to Mike Mamulas house in the Philly burbs, near Villanova to do some repairs in his kitchen.
His wife is something else. Smoking hot Italian babe who could cook and worked full time as a model I believe. I never cared for Mamula as I am not an eagles fan but boy was that guy lucky in life.
At that point he was selling insurance in NJ. I was glad he wasn’t home when I got there.
Also, I live in Bethelehem Pa where Mamula infamously whipped out his dong at a bar near Lehigh University. I didn’t bring that story up with her.

Hmmm, I coulda sworn it was either tied with 1st or Fitzmagic was the 2nd highest. Either way, yeah, we were talking about this when we added him. I was heavily criticized for saying he was clearly better than Rosen, and one of the things that kept coming up was that Rosen was smart too, which he is. But Fitzmagic simply outclasses him in terms of knowledge of the offense and ability to learn it ... and leadership, and a few other important categories as well.

That was a good one. I'm sure Harvard would have had some words for him had he scored much lower.
Whether Fitzpatrick is better than Rosen is totally irrelevant in regards to the Dolphin rebuild. Personally I was hoping Fitzpatrick would retire instead of coming back and wasting another year of the rebuild by starting a career backup who isn’t good enough to lead this team to more than 5 or 6 wins. Rosen probably isn’t the future for the Dolphins but we all know Fitzpatrick define isn’t part of the future. Unless they intent to hire him to be the QB coach which he is probably better suited for than the QB coach they have now.
If Fitzpatrick ends up being the starter in 2020, I already can’t wait until the 2021 season when hopefully the Dolphins will actually have a real starter at the QB position.
