While I am as excited about a new set of D packages and formations, I am waiting to see the results on the field. Cause everyones schemes look good on paper. I hope we break through that barrier of bending and breaking at the end of games. I'd rather be 20th and know my guys are there at the end of the game then top 10 and break when it really counts. <-- its an exageration but you should get the point. All tis stuff we're doing in the offseason is for NIL if it doesn't convert into W's during the regular season. Thats not to say we can't get excited, but more of a warning that just because there is a change or addition or subtraction for that matter doesn't mean that it will result in a positive outcome on the field. Just my two cents
Now back to your regulary scheduled program :)

The players we have on our roster aren't suited for that type of a defensive scheme. I'll be more pumped next off season after Saban has had to FA's and two drafts to build his defense. With that said, I really can't wait to see how we do this year defensively, though I'm not sure pumped is the right word.... I think I'm more pumped about our offense. I can't wait to see Ronnie run, a more open passing attack, and a Feeley that doesn't have to carry the team on his shoulders. I think it'll be a good offense this year...

Agua said:I'm not going to flame you, at all. I feel the same way, but I'm cautiously optimisitic. I believe his "scheme" will work, it's whether we have the players to execute it that is my question. I'm cautiously optimistic. Let's put it that way.
