You fail to realize that we had no gameplan. Simply put, we weren't going to give teams an opportunity to have 6 weeks to study us on film. You know how secretive Saban is... he doesn't like to show his cards until he's ready to play them. On the other hand, the Bears seemed intent on winning, and I believe they gameplanned and executed like it was a real game. Al Michaels said "You don't blitz this much in the Hall of Fame game". Simply put, they went all out, and our newly formed still learning and non-gameplanned team got manhandled a bit at the beginning. Big deal.
If, however, they look the same game 1... you can say we're in for a long season.
