WR Damian Williams visits Dolphins/signs one year deal

This signing, and our aggressive attempts to bring in more WRs tells me every receiver on the team better be prepared to earn their reps...even the 60 million dollar man. As for the draft I don't believe we'll shy away from drafting a WR, not even in the first round, but then none of us really has a clue on the matter seeing as Hicky has never been a GM before.

I think that's exactly right, and I think Hickey is going to surprise us in the draft. Plus it's so deep, even a WR in the later rounds can come in and make an impact. We're going to have a lot of receivers in camp.

training camp fodder, nothing more.

He looks like much more than fodder, to me.

this guy makes our 53 somethings wrong...all he's done since he came out of usc is back up why i didn't have him on my draft board when he came out...this guys what joe mknight is to the rb position at wr...

only thing he's got going for him is he's still young...too bad he sucks

Or maybe he wins the kick return job and frees up a RB spot.

i doubt miami is gonna keep a guy solely for his return abilities...even thigpen got run rotation in the slot and out of the backfield a view times...this dudes a horrible wr option...like i said he's young...that's about it...not a corpse...as a wr he should be out of the league already...

He's competing for that 5/6th spot...the team will most likely bring in 12 total WR for the beginning of camp and trim from there.

I may be in the minority, but I'm fine with the WR core as it is....I would like a large threat at some point, but feel TE would be a better option for that.

probably is tight end in the draft if they do anything with how much lazor likes 2 tight end sets...that said you keep this dude over rishard mathews go sit in the corner...you guys will see in the preseason though...just make sure you recognize what is given vs what he actually takes...then you will know...he's a take what you give him by the coverage played etc production wr...not a dictate to the coverage one

in an ideal scenario at the position this guys a easy camp cut...but i guess we'll see how ideal things are for us then...i'd draft someone before i kept this guy as a wr...day 3 even should not be hard to find a better option should we go that route...of course they can't f it up

So many people get bent out of shape over the signings of 5th and 6th receiving options. Heck, this team left camp with 4 on the 53 man. LOL.

To be honest I don't trust Thigpen as a returner especially when we are backed up. But I'd really like someone with more electricity to him. The guys that can make someone miss in a phone booth in the draft is who I'd be looking at. Guys like Dri Archer or De'Anthony Thomas in the 4th or 5th would bring a dimension to this team. If I were looking at receiver options I'd be looking at 6'4 red zone options.

get over that crap hayden...i'm not a dummy...you can stick your head in the sand if you want to...

4th and 5th wrs are one injury away from playing...you want the best unit you can get top to bottom not scrubs who if they play for you will wind up making you upchuck

Rishard Matthews is on of the better player on the team with tons of upside....he also spend a good amount of time in the off-season working with Tannehill. I would not be surprised if he leaves camp as the number 3.....too strong and too much fight as a wideout not to have him the field.

well then why the heck did you post williams will compete with mathews for a spot...i was just going off that...williams should be competing with binns if anything...all these other guys are camp fodder...if we cant find a 5th wr option better than williams somethings wrong...they are out there in the draft for sure...hell you got better options on day 3 even than this guy as a wr

I was putting into context his position on the team...competing for that final spot...
