Simple....Kendall Newsome or DT.....Booker is no better than DT IMHTGO.

Booker is 100x the receiver DT will ever be.

He shows no loyalty to our team.

If you put Boston and Chambers on the outside, who do you double team? Hard to say isn't it? If we have Chambers and Booker starting who do you double team? easy... chambers becuase booker is not a threat to hurt you with a big play.

Marty Booker blew by Mike McKenzie on his 61-yard touchdown catch

Grossman's pass to Marty Booker was a perfectly timed pass, in which hit Booker in stride down the right sideline for a 59-yard completion and the Bears first touchdown score of the day.

Not only did the Bears get big plays out of their rookie RB Anthony Thomas, but a Marty Booker touchdown from two yards out began a barrage of scoring for Chicago. Booker was originally ruled out of bounds on the play, but the call was reversed when Chicago challenged it. The play helped the Bears set the tone for the rest of the game.

Marty Booker had touchdown receptions of 28, 45 and 66 yards for the Bears

Although the Dolphins lost another game, hidden in it was the best game by the wideouts all season. Chris Chambers returned to play and had six catches for 37 yards and one touchdown while Marty Booker led all receivers with 123 yards on seven receptions. It is encouraging for the rest of the season to see both wideouts involved and in particular Marty Booker. They threw 27 passes to Booker and Chambers last week and will likely need to do so in many games this year.

(I figured I should throw one in from last year)

Educate yourself on Booker.

:shakeno:

I'll just say that I am disgusted by the character assasination present in this thread as it relates to Booker.

I encourage you all to tune in to see Marty Booker starting and performing for this Dolphins offense.

Booker is good and he will show that this season...last season everbody on the team had low numbers. This year I bet he'll play like he did in Chicago. He is the best receiver opposite Chambers. And if Boston comes back strong and plays up to his potential, we'll see at that point. But as of right now it's bookers spot across the field from 84.

Booker just doesnt excite me in anyway, yes he is solid and will catch the ball, but it almost seems like settling for a girl because she has a nice personality ...lol

A lot of people said that about OJ McDuffie. But when you needed a 1st down he was always there. Booker is the same type of player...not a burner, but catches almost everything you throw at him.

No Boston wont start and Welker will not be number three defiantly not Booker/Chambers are the starters Boston is 3rd Gilmore is 4 and DT is 5 Welker is our KR/PR

So Welker won't be a receiver even if he makes some plays? He's that far out of the picture?

Booker reminds me more of a poor man's Marvin Harrison than of OJ. Marvin is no workout warrior or part time basketball player, but he is darn good at what he does and makes plays like nobody's business. Booker isn't in the same league (who is other than Jerry Rice?), but he has some of those same tools as the clips above bear out.
