I like Gilmore as a no.4, I think he could really do well there.

I love the idea of Welker in the slot and Boston and Chambers are both deep threats. IMO, it makes absolutely the most sense, but Boston still has to prove he is healthy and ready to go.
Thoughts?

I like Booker. My question is if you trade Booker, and Boston can't stay healthy, where is the team then?XXXSURTAINXXX said:Trade Booker for some talent at CB and switch Welker and Gilmore and Im feeling it.

I am not sure Newsome is ready, and Dt might not make the team. Mann and Davis might sneak in there or at least one of them will make the practice squad. Booker is going to have a breakout year in a Fins uniform. I have that feeling. Boston is going to have to work even harder to learn anew play book as the rest of them are, but getting used to being on the field again. I hope Boston makes it through the year healthy. I just think its too early to even think about unloading Booker, unless you see alot of other players step it up. I would be against Booker being traded. Farmer might fit into the mix too.XXXSURTAINXXX said:Simple....Kendall Newsome or DT.....Booker is no better than DT IMHTGO. He shows no loyalty to our team.<-----He still cries at night.![]()
Boston needs just one year...That year is this year...I got faith he will lead our team in receptions.
His health? It's a concern of mine as well....but Im looking at Saban's tactics....They dont hit in practice like they did when JJ and DW was at the helm.......That will add to that guys recovery and reinvention of the biggest and the baddest muthafuqqin Wide reciever in the Nation Football League.
Yeah.

I hear you, and agree about Howard. I just think that Booker is going to be the man this year, and if this is so, we will be able to spread defenses very thin with Chambers, Booker, Boston, and Gilmore.XXXSURTAINXXX said:I hear your concerns.....Im trying to buy into Saban's defense.....But Howard is more of a risk then Booker is an asset. The benefit in trading Booker might outweigh the cost.
Of course sir Im just a die hard fan at home on my PC and my opinions might impress my wife and kids.......(The dont know any better)
Yes we do, and I am confiedent that it will come together. If the front 7 on D can get pressure, then I think we can manage with our Db's, watching the wavier wire of course. However if the front 7 can't get enough pressure then you will be right, we will have to trade some depth somewhere on the roster to get help at DB!XXXSURTAINXXX said:I hope he does...if we can put up enough points to win(Like St. Louis and unlike KC) im with it.
We do have an impressive offensive corp when you think of it.

I hear you. Gilmore has probably got number 4 slot now, and if they count Welker as number 5 then it will be to the practice squad for him. If Welker is not counted as a WR, then there is hope.Sirspud said:I really want to see Kendall Newson make this team. He is raw, but he can make catches as spectacular as any WR we have minus Chambers. He is a good talent, and I'd like a roster spot to go to him instead of Thompson, who has been given too many chances and is no longer needed.
