wtf? Sean Salisbury says Wannstedt should get a contract extention now!

We did not score? so what we are done? what about the Morris run shown on espn news, he ran past everyone and stopped? Obviously scoring isnt the main goal.
hate to burst this nice thought, but its becuase he got "half tackled" first. The guys out there arent trying to boom a guy into the ground. The guy put him arms around Morris real quick then released.

Hmmm. Salisbury said that?

Then it can be assumed that by adding a 1,700-1,800 yard rusher to an 11 win team, the team should be put over the top.

Ooops. That's what happened in 2002. The 11 win Miami Dolphins added Ricky Williams, and their win total actually dropped to 9.
Best post ive seen all week:). Ive never thought of this, but its very inspiring

thank you for that jam-packed response on why the Dolphins cannot obtain 10 wins. Next time tho, out a little less information, i was kind of blown away:tongue: .

Umm, I definetly never heard him say anything about IF we get to the playoffs that Wannstedt should get a contract extension. Not an exact quote, but along these lines... He said with all the bad things that had happened to the team, it wouldn't be fair to judge Wannstedt based on this years performance and he should get a contract extension right now (assumadly to take his mind off of worrying if he'll still have a job or not).

The problem with the "lose a 1700 - 1800 yard rusher" statement holds no water because its not like the fins are going to have 0 rushing yards in 2004. Despite popular belief there will be somebody running the football.
