I think it is funny when you say overreacting to the fact that we overpaid at 19 for what we got. I don't think many are upset at who we got, I know I'm not. It looks highly probable that if Hickey played his cards right, we could have got James and a 3rd. How is that being greedy? Seriously? I am not bashing Hickey for it, but it is definitely worth mentioning and we over paid at 19 to fill a need. No big deal, but a fact!

Do you know James wouldn't have been picked between 19 and your theoretical pick we dropped to? We don't know that other teams didn't also value James, and if on our board there was a big gap between James and all the other remaining lineman it's not a bad idea to play it safe.

You believe we overpaid. You cannot be sure how the teams graded out the players. Further, the correct statement is we probably could have picked James and received a pick. It is not a sure thing. If James was the last OL with a first round grade on Hickey's board, then he made the correct decision. It is possible the player evaluation is not correct, but the decision was a good one.
