y did we draft roth?

mods- please don't ban me, but can we continue to let this clown continue talking? look, kid. i know you're 14, but shut up. you don't know what you're talking about. roth is far better than a 6th round pick. relax its the preseason... and if saban thought roth was a better pick up then frye, i'll go with that... he has more coaching experience then you have LIFE EXPERIENCE JUST SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP.... what? you, a 14 year old kid with zero experience knows more than saban? :fire:

there should be an age limit on this place. or atleast a ban on people who make such asinine comments.

fiery enough to get involved in a fight in tc.not a big one but still we couldve got a qb like frye. Why do we need another de that wont play that much.We shouldve got one next year.
Frye wasn't rated as high as Roth by almost EVERY single professional analyst. We picked BPA (which most teams do).

in hindsight, yes we should have picked Frye. If Frye had played like crap this preseason, you would not be saying this and if we had picked him and he sucked you would be saying "We should have picked Roth".

Couldn't agree more

If you don't like what he wrote ignore him. That attack was pretty damn personal and out of line. Chill out and relax.

i'm sorry, but jesus, wake up.. look around. if you knew everything, you'd be coach and gm, not saban.

besides, someones gotta tell him to wait to make crucial judgementa on players, after 4 pre season games.... players take time to develop... ie priest holmes, ahman green, matt hasselbeck and drew brees.

yea im just pissed right now.But frye would be good on our team.just tthink bout it with our runnin game and wrs
Why would you all argue with a 14 year old? lol

Remember the seen, not heard thing.
Good call, its pretty obvious he has no clue what he is talking about. Maybe when he grows up a bit more he will learn a bit about how the NFL works. He must be real pissed that we traded Surtain for a 2nd rounder.

Roth is no Jason Taylor thats all i have to say.

Figured that out for yourself? Good for you, now you can reconize how people are different by looking at them, and I guess you can predict the future of a player by looking at them for one preseason? Where were you when Brady was drafted?

Actually we did need a DE and DT's.
Our entire DL is aging with zero depth.

look, pal, i hate to break it to you, but these things don't get solved over night. new coach, new coordinator and offensive system. regardless of who the qb is, they will strugggle. you think a rookie, a marginal one at that in frye is going to step in and lead us to the promise land?

no. not even close. you draft BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE. period end of story. look at new england... they had traylor and ted washington, and they drafted vince wilfork..... they had wiggins and fauria and they draft graham. they had seymour, green, and the rest of them.. .and who do they draft in the first round? ty warren.
