I think that it's a good call. Don't be surprised if Daniel plays well. He has something to prove and he had his good games (although there were not enough of them). Miller is the sort of RB who needs to take breathers.
The team needs the Daniel Thomas that balled against Pittsburgh.
Maybe Danny will truly run with it now that he has been cut once
That's the ONLY game Thomas 'balled' in 3 full seasons.
Can someone explain to me why Miller cannot catch, when he dropped 1 pass last year and 1 this year? Also, why he cannot block, when he was #7 of all RB's in the NFL last year in pass protect?
Are you using a different standard than fact or, did not watch him play and want to jump on what others have mistakenly posted?

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports the Dolphins re-signed Thomas on Monday morning, according to a source informed of the move. The Miami Herald first reported the news.
The running back was released during final cuts after another uninspiring offseason in which he missed three preseason games due to injury.
The former second-round draft pick has averaged 3.6 yards per carry in three seasons in Miami. Thomas doesn't create space, break tackles or display speed in space.
