Is there a charge per month for Tivo?TouchDown said:The TiVo will impact your life even more than the DirectTV. Good bye commercials.
fin-atic said:After considering it for the last three years, I broke down and ordered the DirectTV with HD equipment and package( I have a HD compatible large Screen Sony just no receiver) and ordered the NFL Sunday Ticket.
I have had cable for years, but they recently jacked up the price and then took away about 20 channels.
I wanted the NFL Network and Sunday Ticket so I bit the bullet and spent the money. All in all it was not as bad as it could have been. DirectTV is running some good specials right now.
It will be installed Thrusday and I will be ready for some football!!

When I lived on the lower level of a two story apartment I still got directv, they just went up on the roof and installed the dish. Have you called them and had them come over and take a look?Brad528 said:Screw that monopoly i hate DTV only because living in an apartment with no balcony or building dish i cant get it. It bull **** that cable can give you every sport package except NFL. Direct Tv did a good job of wrapping it up untill 2006. But it should be illegal for only them to offer the package. You should be at least allowed to order one game at a time. Its bull**** that i can watch images from all over the world but not a football game in another city
