Yermiah Bell to be cut

Hopefully we gave him the chance to restucture. I think most of us saw this coming. A little late IMO. I hope we take a shot at Wimbley.
 
Good move. Bell's been a productive player in the past but he was dead weight at that kind of money.

Reshad is an actual SS though. Putting him elsewhere is where he sucks- he is not a great coverage back

However, advertisements on Marshall say he is. Perfect for fs. I think the two could make a good combination

As for Vontae, I trust him. With a full offseason under his belt, hopefully he comes into camp on shape and produces. Smith I cannot trust at all. I am all for replacing him and using him as a backup at this point.
 
The timing was pretty smart actually. Waiting until the jests signed Landry to avoid him going there, not that I think Ireland was smart enough to actually plan that.

That would be Vontae. Probably followed by Smith.

Bell is a has-been and it's time for him to see the door. For the right price, I'd keep him, but I'm just as fine with cutting him
 
He should have been cut last year (or traded). Good luck to him....maybe he can go to playoff team and win a game or two.

Not a bad move. He was making too much money anyway for a guy whose best days are behind him.
