1) If you continue to use that sorry argument that AJ will throw interceptions for touchdowns even though he hasnt done that since December 5th and has pretty much proven that wont be a problem anymore...you just might be a Guskateer
2) If you complained that Feeley didnt use his secondary options after the first preseason game and raved about Gus even though he played against the 2nd string and his best passes were luck, then declared that dropped passes are the fault of Feeley in the 2nd game, then changed your argument in the 3rd game complaining that Feeley now wasnt throwing the ball downfield enough, then defended Frerotte because HIS receivers were dropping passes on him in the 4th game and downplayed Feeley's performance because HE was playing against the 2nd string......you just might be a Guskateer.
3) If you rave about "pocket presence" or "feel" but feel 4 sacks, two fumbles( one for a touchdown), one interception (one near pick for a touchdown) dont make that argument ridiculous.....you just might be a Guskateer.
4) If you use the fact that Gus was in a Pro Bowl last millenium as a basis to believe he might do it again....you just might be a Guskateer.
5) If you believe that hitting a blade of grass 50 yards down the field is better than hitting a receiver in stride 8 yards down the field........you just might be a Guskateer
6) If you believe a 46% completion average and a 59 qb rating is the fault of receivers not leaping ten feet in the air to make the catch.....you just might be a Guskateer
There's more but that's enough for now. Feeley free to add your own
1) Interceptions that are run back are a function of the offense's ability to tackle. Other than that, a pick is a pick. Who leads the race of shame? Who cares. Neither QB has proven he can lead this franchise.
2) Just doesn't even make enough sense to address. Luck? How do you measure 'luck'? Gus overthrowns receivers and Feeley is mostly successful throwing underneath. Feeley locks in on receivers and results in INTs. Neither QB has proven he can lead this franchise.
3) Can you say "bad protection", especially behind the both 1st and 2nd string line early in the preseason behind which both QBs were sucker punched. Neither QB has proven he can lead this franchise.
4) If anyone uses that argument, offer them Warner or Garcia. Neither QB has proven he can lead this franchise.
5) Both QBs have done that and neither QB has proven he can lead this franchise.
6) Picking one game stats will get you into trouble. Don't believe me? Look at Feeley's one game stats his first game starting last year. Besides, two critical passes should have been caught. You can't hit a receiver in the hands and not expect him to catch it. Neither QB has proven he can lead this franchise.
