Byrd is out of the division and Revis is in. A down the field playmaker is needed to pounce on Buffalo and counter-act NE. A corner is needed to cover Decker, aside from Grimes. To make the playoffs, you must win the division.
 
Decker isnt going to be an issue unless the Jets get a true #1 reciever.
 
Grimes can handle any number one, he proved that last year. And wallace got this, Tanne just gotta hit him now. I hope they can figure that whole mess out for our sake!!1

Brent Grimes and Mike Wallace called. They said we'll be ok.


Also, why would we need another corner other than Grimes to counter the jets getting Decker? Did they sign a quarterback I missed?

Right now what we need is a RT or a guard and there's not a whole of a lot to pick from. We only 1 pick in each round. Can't fill every need on draft day. We need to plug at least 2 more holes. I know they want to be smart wit the money but you can't low ball eveyone. We have 2 starting linemen as of now. It's ok to start a rookie and maybe even 2 but 3? We sill have no real seam TE and we need a RB.

Decker is a good player. Not great, but good who was made look a lot better by Manning. Doesn't really matter though who the Jets sign at WR, they still don't have a QB to throw them the ball.

Patriots did upgrade with Revis, but by how much? They didn't just add him to the team, they lost Talib in the process.
 
If the Pats get Browner than they have improved
 
Ted Ginn smoked Revis a few times when he was a Jet, I'm not that worried about him being back. Our issues are our own... If Tanne and Wallace can sort out their timing, which is dependent upon our O line perfomring much better. If we sort those problems out, it'll be Wallace that's smoking Revid in Orange on a Monday night.

That was my thought too. Revis is better than Talib, but not by miles. And Revis eats up $12 million of Patriot cap space meaning there is one fewer substantial free agent they can sign than if they signed a cornerback like Verner. Opportunity cost.
