Your thoughts on Brock Berlin

Personally, I see him as making the PS. If he does somehow make the roster, I see him in NFL Europe, maybe even the Berlin Thunder.

Sorry.... couldn't resist.

He'll do great this year and really surprise all the rest of the busboys at Shula's restaurant. I think he could possibly move up the ranks and be a bar-back or dishwasher by season's end.

The reason he is good in the two minute drill is because he lines up shot gun. It's all he is real good at. He ran out of the shot gun in high school the whole time, and it hurt him when he got to Florida.

He is at his worst when he lines up behind the Center. He seems to lose his senses when he drops back. His arm strength is mediocre, and he is far from mobile. Sage may not ever reach second string, but Berlin won't be replacing him.

I am a huge dolphins fan as well as a hurricanes fan. I was not the biggest berlin fan, but when you counted him out he was amazing at times. In the shotgun he was as good as anyone in college. at times he was not very impressive. Saban has been following berlin since high school. He tried to recruit him from high school and again when he left florida. Berlin takes the third qb position from rosenfels. Berlin is still an extremely young qb. he only has two seasons as a starter in miami. I believe he has lots of potential. (so does saban). I believe saban is giving berlin a chance to muture, get experience and see if he can be the future qb for this team. wait and see. Feeley starts this year!! He will shine in camp. sorry Frerotte after 11 years you are still a backup!!!

Just something I want to know. My opinion is neutral on Berlin right about now.

Many people with a lot of credibility said he was camp fodder, for good reason. After all, it could be seen that the college teams he was on was the only thing going for him.

With that being said though, during college, Nick Saban did try to recruit him. Now Nick Saban proven a lot of things, and a knack for spotting talent is one of them. So maybe there is plenty value i. And with all the smokescreens "Double-O Saban" puts up, he could have something in store Brock Berlin. Maybe he has something more in store for Brock, or a maybe he doesn't.

Your insight, please?:)

Well Brock was the #1 high school QB prospect in the country... I think every bit time program recruited him!?!?!

Agree, call me a homer but have watched him most of last season and I think he did very well with/and for the Hurricanes......lets see what Saban thinks eh?

If you noticed Brock played much better towards the end of the season. I think he is having the same problem as Feeley they need time to learn the system once they get that down i think Brock could be a good Back up QB but as far as him starting ehhh...

Lets GO Feeley You got no excuse this year!

Your right

Based on his college career, I'd say two words...camp fodder....the ONLY thing he has going for him is his ability to play 3/4 of a game like a dud and the last quarter like a decent manager of the game.
