Benson and Caddy will be awesome runners, but Ronnie's abilities make an offense, as a whole, much harder to defend. It kind of reminds me of Mike Vick because he isnt the greatest passer but his skill running the ball makes it twice as hard for defenses. Ronnie can run hard between the tackles, but you can split him wide and create serious mismatches.We can have a linebacker on either him or Randy EVERY play. Ronnie's a threat everywhere on the field and thats why he went #2.

:shakeno:dude get a grip, ronnies not gunna suck, our-oline has improved, our qbs are not horrible and rickys sitting out the first four games which gives ronnie time to prove himself, he looked good in both pre-season games so i dont think theres much to worry about

Where did I say Ronnie is gonna suck?!?! I think he will be VERY good... but he I don't think he is going to come in and relegate Ricky to the bench. Ricky hit the hole quicker, has better cutbacks, and has a much better knack for finding the open seam in a defense.

Everyone on the Ronnie Bandwagon is forgetting that Ricky was a top-5 back when he left, and in recent games has looked just as good if not better. Rookies rarely come in and set the NFL on fire... and Ronnie would have to be doing some monumental things in those first 4 games to keep Ricky off the field and from taking a majority of the snaps.

As for the other poster... re: the Jordan/Martin combination... I'm betting after week 4 it will be similar... but RICKY will have the role of Curtis Martin.

Agreed. Those were going to be my three SAME EXACT reasons why I think Ronnie Brown has the potential to be the next big Running Back in the NFL. I just love this guys attitude and intelligence and he's definitely got a great head on his shoulder and what I love most about him is his versatility to not just be a great running back but a great receiver as well. He has has GREAT hands and he's going to be a threat to defenses in so many ways.

1. i got screwed in fantasy drafts so ronnie's the 2nd starter at RB and he better rack up yards.
2. he's got the talent
3. if he doesn't, thousands of Fin fans will be out for his blood.
