Hell of a career for one of the best 5th round picks in NFL history. Loved him as a player the David crushing the Goliaths of his time. In my eyes he should be in the HOF. The stat about Lewis and Seau speaks volumes about him.

He won't make it in before Patrick Willis. He was a more athletic Ray Lewis.

He bette not. I don’t even think Willis is a HOF, let alone first ballot. He was great but Zach pretty much doubled him in every stat. You have to have atleast a semi long career. 8 years and not even 8 full years doesn’t make the cut. No superbowls either so can’t even give him the Terrell Davis exception who carried his team to two superbowls and most dominate playoff performer ever or Barry who atleast had 10 dominate seasons not 7.5.

If you want to get Zach in you have to bring attention to whichever HOF voter is in your area. Mine is Scott Garceau. The biggest indicator that he's a HOF is that he was a first team All-Pro 5 times during the same time frame that both Ray Lewis (7) & Brian Urlacher (4) played. The only HOF eligible players that have more than 5 that aren't in the HOF are Alan Faneca (should get in soon) & Jim Tyrer.

Look at Zach's First Team All-Pro selections. Look at his contemporaries. Now ask yourself how he's not in the Hall of Fame.

He doesn't self promote enough.

Zach should be in before Willis. There are two other worthy LBs on that list who aren’t in yet in Carl Banks and Clay Matthews. Clay played at a high level for 18 seasons. He was amazing. Can’t believe he’s not in. Banks played on a D that had LT, Harry Carson, Pepper Johnson etc but he was fantastic too. Tough competition here. If they vote 2 LBs in i hope it’s Zach and Clay.

Stats mean little when impact is in play. Zach was great, Willis was the best ILB for 7 straight years, I dunno if you can say the same for Zach.

Both will be in the HOF

Sorry to say, but I dont think he will get in. He deserves it, no doubt, but Willis will be a 1st ballot candidate, as will Troy P. Narrows ZT's chances massively.
