Cowherd "fins most underrated team in NFL"

Tannehill has a few things going against him not returning to Miami next season. He's got age...going to be 30, coming off a season ending injury...wouldn't have played a game in almost 2 years. And then his contract which he hasn't really proved that he's worth. Don't be surprised if Miami cuts ties with Tannehill.

Good evening bro. I am not so sure it is that cut and dry as of right now. Coach Gase came here in part because of the QB he had running the offense and he believed in him.

Things change though. Gase believed in him pre re-injury. If this injury causes Tannehill to be less mobile...it won't end well. Tannehill makes better throws on the run. He already has less than average pocket awareness and if he's not mobile...then he's going to even take more sacks than usual.

Good points brother.

For a single season only, in Gase's offense, coming off injury, Cutler may be better than Tannehill.

Im still holding my breath with Cutler. I just wanna cushion the blow for that game that Cutler loses it with turnovers like crazy. Every time he gets sacked I feel like he's more likely to fumble than with most qbs lol

This is interesting to me. To be honest my expectation of Cutler is simply that the offense won't miss a beat. Cutler's and Tannehill's stats were eerily similar in there first seasons with Gase. I know we need context but the numbers are damn near identical. If that's the case I'd expect us to stick with the younger guy because we'd get more time out of it. Now if Cutler is really good than that, say 30/12 TD to INT with a playoff berth/playoff win sure I could see this going the other way.

2 things we can't discount, Gase has a great relationship with both guys, hard to say which one he's closer with. Don't discount that it could be Cutler.

Maybe it's because he's new but I've never seen the players more complimentary of our QB ever. Does finheaven know more about QB's than the guys on the field :=).

It should be an interesting 15 games.

Gentleman, again, let's not make every thread w/ the mention of Cutler, a Tannehill vs Cutler debate. It's getting really old.

Good evening bro. I think Ryan has the edge. What will be interesting is how Jay plays through out the year. If he plays well does he want to play another couple of years? What does Jay playing well mean to Ryan if anything?
agreed. A lot of assumptions being made that Jay wouldn't want to retire again w his $10mil.

I think Cowherd is talking about those that look at the Dolphins as a 6-10 or worse team. We have seen a few predictions along those lines
