That game was fixed, and it was a bad fix...

I said the same exact thing to my dad during the game. It won’t be mentioned anywhere beaides us ‘whiny’ Dolphin fans. It’s a joke. That safety call was one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen. The fact that it was reviewed and stood is disgusting. Headquarters in New York for whatever reason didn’t want to give us it.
sure was convenient that there was no goal line angle for some unknown reason. Made it easy for them to spin it. All they had to do was call it no safety on the field and omit the goalline cam and it was easy to not overturn it.

Football night in America (crappy highlight show) never showed the questionable safety play during their highlight.

Hilarious plays in the Pats game too...

- Crabtree had his helmet pulled off by a Pats d-back...no call
- Jared Cook almost had his jersey pulled off...no holding call
- Pats weren’t called for a single penalty until less than 5 minutes remained in the 3rd quarter and the game was already decided
- And my favorite call of the game, Mack hits Brady in his THIGHS and it’s called a penalty for hitting the QB low

I see no reason why this game would have been fixed. However, the officiating was criminally incompetent.

The ONLY thing I can think of is pretty out there, but what the hell...

The NFL wants the Fins to fail so that Ross can move the team to London.

We have a very good fan base there, Ross seems to like it there. And the NFL desperately wants a team there.

Yea, its out there, but pfffft, I love a good conspiracy.

My guess is Vegas is responsible. The part I don't get is why there are still people who bet on the Fins.

Meh, Vegas usually doesnt care about the result, they make their money off the vig.

I guess, I just don't see why the league would bother to fix games between bottom feeders otherwise, and I'm pretty sure the Dolphins have had some pointless games fixed against terrible opponents before (not always against the Dolphins either).

It just ruins the nature of the game. I don't watch the NFL just to see what narrative the league can spoon feed me... maybe the league just thinks they know best? Idk.

I rarely blame the officiating crew for wins or losses, as far as I am concerned you got 4 quarters to win a football game. Having said that, this crew was terrible today, some of those calls were chicken ****.

Exactly......I was talking to a buddy (Eagles fan) telling him there were complaints the Dolphins/Bucs game was fixed and his response: "Why would anyone go through the trouble & possible consequences to fix THAT game???"......I didn't have an answer.
