Alright, I got too late a start on the process this past year, not this time! This is a list of players I've compiled from a variety of sites and it's about 350 guys. It's all the notable seniors that I could find (top 15-25 at their respective positions) and then underclassmen who are projected in the top 2 or 3 rounds. What I want from the forward looking gurus here is additional guys that I should include so as we lead up to the college football season we have as many guys on our radar as possible. For the casual guys I'm sure you can use this to help you key on certain players throughout the process and hopefully I get some input so I can build this up over the upcoming years.

At least from UCF, you're missing a few guys that'll be drafted next year.

I would do whatever is necessary to trade up and get Amari Cooper and kick Mike Wallace to the curb.

We dont really save much from cutting him next year though if I recall. Cooper is a damn fine player though. After seeing another year of this linebacker crew though I might be looking for one of those
 
How far into the process have you gotten? I watch 5 games on each prospect. Finished RB, and OL, working on WR now. I'm saving QB for last, and so far I have 4 first round grades on the OL and 2 on RB's.

Hahaha well...I've made a list... I've got a busy week so just looked at a couple of guys to get a feel for who I like. I watched a lot of Ogbeuhi before he decided to return to school and he probably would've been my #2 tackle this year. Watched Cameron Erving a fair bit too, really needs to clean up his technique but if he does that he could be a top 10 pick. Schreff I've heard great things about and I'm sure he'll get a first round grade out of me. Peat I'll have to wait and see on. I make criteria for each position so I'm always tweaking the grading and the traits I'm grading, so it takes me a fair bit of time to get it right, especially for position groups that I don't have a set system for yet. Ideally I'll have a top 50 together in a couple months, top 32 at the very least.

I hate saying anything too early in the process because as I watch more guys I tend to get a better feel for them and reassess, but my initial impressions of the 1 game I've watched of each of them is I really like Melvin Gordon, Andrus Peat was unimpressive, USC DT Leonard Williams could be in the top 5 mix with a solid year, Vic Beasley who I watched before last draft was thoroughly unimpressive (albeit this was me watching early in the process) and look like solely a pass rush specialist, like the physicallity of Denzel Perryman. That's all I got from some brief watching, very likely to change.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I gave Ogbuehi a 3rd round grade. Out of 5 games, I can count on one hand how many times he got inside hands in the run or pass. He's a pretty good athlete but terrible with his hands. Soft. No movement in the run game. Lacks any nastiness whatsoever. Lacks the hand use to protect the edge, lacks the size/strength to anchor against bull rushers, and oversets too often. A few games (notably LSU) he went against a mush rush so he basically did nothing. And they run the ball about 2 times a game. I look at him as a swing tackle with added value that he can play all 4 positions (started at RG in 2012). Will be overdrafted.

Peat received a top 5 grade for me. Not the best feet in the world, but makes up for it with outstanding length. In five games I saw him give up only two pressures, both for sacks, when he overset and gave up the inside shoulder. Also lost on 1 bull rush vs Tuitt when he got up high and didn't keep inside hands. But he still anchored enough not to give up the pressure. My only concern is his balance. He spends wayyyyyy to much time on the ground in the run game. Especially vs USC in 2013. He is not a good 2nd level blocker because of this. But you're drafting him to be a pass protector, not a 2nd level blocker. He has the potential to be an All-Pro Left Tackle for a very long time.

I don't think Erving is a Franchise Left Tackle. He oversets way too often, and doesn't anchor well. He still got a 1st round grade but not top 10. I like Scherff more, but he is exclusively a right tackle. Lacks the feet to mirror speed rushers at the NFL. But he's a nasty son of a bitch in the run game. You want him at Right Tackle to generate movement. He'll also overset and give a two way go as well.
