A-Train for O-Gun???

We can make our running game work this year. When we ran with L. Smith we had him with minor as a third down back and we ran adequately, Our offense was geared more to passing though. Seeing Morris as at least Smiths equal(IMO), and Minor having more experience we can have a stable of back at least as good as the one we had that year.

That was also the best year we had passing under DW. If we develop the passing game this year, next year when we sign a back to carry the load(with Edge/Alexander slated to be free agents) he can come into an offence as a compliment instead of a focus. We might not get one of those guys, but we will be able to address the position in the off season without paying out our a** for a RB. The best thing that could come out of Ricky's retirement is the offense we run will be come more balanced.

The worst thing that could come from his retirement is if we spend future draft picks or Ogun on a RB that is a bust or loses his confidence running behind our line.

If we keep Ogun we can have a budding star at DE and a RB next year and for years to come.
