Hopefully there's some kind of void of the remaining years...or something that minimizs the blow of that silly contract

Alternative being that they release him this week with June 1 designation. His constant injuries degrade his value such that he is not worth anywhere the base salary he is owed.

But we are told by others that it’s worth it for the 10 games he starts and finishes 100% each year

The problem w this is you don’t know which games he’s going to miss. Like the year before he missed the playoff game. And add up those missed games and that affects your chances of winning the division, getting a bye etc. He’s also old-ish and it’s starting to show. Not sure he’d be paid more at this juncture. Silly in a sense that we signed a insanely injury prone LT on the wrong side of 30 to a 5yr deal. Regardless of the actual annual amount.

Fins likely convinced him not to retire because we would be in a worse spot with even more dead money and no LT.

I love Armstead. He's a top 10 LT and a great mentor to the younger guys. We def play better as a unit when he plays. But 11-12 games a season is not the answer.

Rework means i think they're going to try to cut a year off the end of it, have an opt out or some kind of void. Something like that.

That's what I think it means. A restructure is a restructure, why would you call it an adjustment? Besides, with all the injuries a pay cut would be reasonable.
